Transdigm has given strongest indication yet of an incoming bid. Unfortunately I do not have a subscription to access the rest of the article.

Agree...same as we have seen with Morrisons . Transdigm are serious players here fore sure.

In view of the expected publication of the Scheme Document, the Company also announces that on 10 August 2021 it received a preliminary, non-binding proposal from TransDigm Group Incorporated ("TransDigm") with respect to a possible cash offer of 900p per share of Meggitt for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Meggitt (the "Proposal").

I would also add the decline from 750p is also driven by one of the large shareholders selling out. Capital have been cashing out since announcement...once this clears I think this will settle back between 730-750p.

CD&R has asked that it be provided with more time to consider its options in response to the Increased Fortress Offer. In the circumstances, the Morrisons Directors consider it to be in Morrisons Shareholders' interests to adjourn the Court Meeting and General Meeting required to implement the Increased Fortress Offer, which are due to be held on 16 August 2021. The Court Meeting and General Meeting will therefore be adjourned until 27 August 2021.

Increased bid for Morrisons again today at 270p. Very surprised to see this languishing still. Not helped by Norges being a seller...only a matter of time until this is back in 160 region imo.

Agree Kingalf. Obviously anticipating the CD&R bid they have increased in advance....question is whether that takes CD&R out of the game or not. But either way 270p nailed on now and will get approval. As a shareholder I think 270p is fair.

Market expects another bid form CD&R. Either way 270p now the floor. Hold and see what happens.

Until this is signed and sealed there is always a chance the deal could collapse. The price will rise as significant milestones towards completion are reached. Those wanting quick returns have sold today....SP should steadily rise from here and all going well you will get your full £8 at the end of it...alternatively as the SP increases over coming weeks with more certainty you will have the opp to sell out closer to £8.
