Agree Aspers. SP looking strong around this level now. IMO less risk to downside now and more chance of seeing some positive upward SP movement over coming weeks

Thanks Rom. I'm out of all NS oilers, bailed on Enq with first WFT announcement and out of HBR too. This for me is the final nail in the coffin for the North Sea.

I may be tempted back by either HBR or ENQ for short term trades but your post reminded me about the tax credits. Maybe ENQ is the better play here? Still fuming so for now I remain out... What a absolute s***show from this government.

I had convinced myself over the weekend I would stay invested here but changed my mind early on Monday morning and took a small profit. I did the same with ENQ on the first WT announcement (luckily I had been invested there for a lot longer and took a healthy profit). Both ENQ and HBR had huge potential prior to the WT having both suffered over the years...it was their time to shine.

The government have absolutely trashed us here. Complete disregard for understanding how O&G in the North Sea works...Majors are long gone...but it is their profits which created the headlines but the ultimately it is the smaller players that have had to pay the price.

There is no future here. Maybe I will change my mind over coming weeks and months but any chance of real shareholder value over medium to long term has gone. Just fuming at this government.

Another crack at £3...lets see if it holds this time.

In some ways the leaks are good in that I think this has been known since Sunak arrived and is priced in. No point selling up here due to concerns on WT increase
.. More importantly it will be how HBR respond to this that counts. Call time on North Sea focus and look elsewhere for future opportunities. I will continue to hold regardless of whether WT increases or not
