RE: Nicholas Claydon - Scale Facilitation24 Mar 2023 07:59
Some on here are still uk regional in thinking.
Scale Facilitation who operate from Australia and have offices in New York State, are building supply chains. Not part of chains but the full chains. That is how they make their money.
They set up the deal for Recharge Industries to buy BritishVolt, knowing that the supply of lithium lce & hydroxide was the point of success or failure for the battery factory.
A post cried out that Recharge Industries dont have any contracts ir customers of their own?
Correct, but BritishVolt was on the verge of collapse.
These guys have moved pretty quickly with targeted investment, have an MoU here with TVL owned by us ALK. Final discussions on offtake agreement. Any week they could be announced, but with BritishVolt only being saved 1 month ago, I would atleast give these guys time to get their feet under the table.
Having assets of HR talent, experience of inturnal Critical Metals Department processes and dealings within the Australian Government again is a great advantage. Geelong , the largest battery factory in Australia is NO COINCIDENCE !!!! This will filter up to the UK and TVL , all in good time.
Finances which are/ were due from the UK Gov fund will naturally be delayed as BritishVolt has new owners, so old paperwork will be ripped up and new contract if grant supply rewritten with all the legal text / international law etc ... Patience for the paperwork changes regarding the part funding.
Once completed then I recon the industry financial deals will fall in to place once the remaining portion of the funding is known, discussed and equity to be issued is confirmed.
My money is partly still on JV with Pilbara Minerals & Offtake with Recharge Energies to start.
The EU offtake will follow.
