The lithium is there. The increase in rock feed stock will grow. The processing capacity needs to follow.

When Sigma starts to churn out 100,000 tpa, when Atlantic start to churn out 200,000 tpa and when Sayona builds on it trial crush and stsrts supply in the next 2 months increasing to 100,000 tpa 2024 then where are the hydroxide processing plants ?

30+ Gigafsctories in Europe alone !!! They have not disappeared. Supply and demand are way out if kilter if processing the tonnage of spodumene rock is needed.

Another trading trying to be filled as the ask just shifted up and we are heading back to the average spread for this stock has been 30p from Christmas 2022. Sometimes drops to 20p and very rarely does the spread come down to 5-10p , very rare.

The spread is again getting wider over the last few days. A good sign.

Normally volumes over 65-75,000 see bigger swings.

Next weeks volumes should be interesting to a couple of us.

TVL is a lithium chemical processing plant not a mine , just to state the obvious but to new investors they may not twig the huge difference?

Lithium supply to Tees Valley Lithium / Alkemy Capital lithium hydroxide plant is the key here.
Once that supply is secured then the clients maywell see the venture as derisked for construction ?

Great post mate. STILL imho Pilbara Mins have a billion in cash sitting there...the pilibara region and one of the largest world shipping ports all within 100 miles.

As I said last week and the startbof this week, Optivar / Traxys deal to be signed in May. It would be weird to sign off a big lithium deal prior to the jv ?

Money goes to money and lithium the same. Those in the West who want it will get it and in the UK they will officially grade it reaching standards consistantly above the half azzed Chinese quality checks.
China has very low grade lithium. It has to import high grades but it doesnt mean they actually make it to a constant grade. Any complaints and they basicallt threaten to pull the import deal so the miner feels the pressure.

I think although its another hoop for ALK TVL to jump through to hit x every run, but it puts that stamp of quality on any production. This in my opinion is where the hydroxide clients will focus to ensure their own premium products hit their own quoted specs.

Its all good as far as I can see.

Keep watching Australia. This is where the big news will come from.

Imho ALK TVL are dealing with UK lithium supply in the form of Wearside Lithium, British Lithium and Cornish Lithium. ALL at early stage but in stable locations. CL will do very well frim DLE technology and again looking at Standard Lithium the technology is looking so much more proven then many would have expected just 12 months ago as they actively progress to production.

ALK TVL are also dealing with Australia. Port Hedland plant and supply are / will be all Australian controlled.

Their Gov is Pro lithium, Pro loans and backing lithium production, Pro increasing this global Critical Metals export from Australia and to widen the supply chains away from 85% export to China.
The area of Pilbara has atleast 4 large 'free and untied' lithium mines that could easily look to Port Hedland for processing and export.
Australia is a country beginning to open up to the US, Eu & UK markets and this is just the very very start.
Stable, clearly defined methods to market, stable Government and where TVL will have one if two processing plants. This is not Africa, even Mr Musk the chancer will not build a factory or buy a mine in Africa.

The basic building blocks here for TVL & ALK are all imho in more helpful , experienced, stable markets who have a basic alignment of progressing the lithium rock to battery/storage chain and supported by the huge investment made by the USA, both UK , EU and Australia are feeling the pull of money.

The ripples if the USA's investments in future technologies in energy are pulling all of the runners and riders towards production sooner rather than later.

I find it quite refreshing that the EU now see money drifting over / being invested in by US companies and are feeling the pressure to act too. The EU are always behind the curve, UK too but China and the US are in a new age and lithium is one of the major metals being fought over.

Time will tell but being involved in the UK, EU & Australia provides me with more hope than a sub saharan adventure. Africa is pretty much owned or underthreat from Chinese actions from several points. I'd rather be away from that tbh.

You to VIS. All here to try and make money. All too easy to lose money on AIM. The trick is to accept the many more bad days than good.
Think the stats are something like 75% lose money on AIM so its always going to be a tough ride.
I just hope we can pick out the route to money and a good , healthy life.
Some get a bit too sucked in, its only a note board to other investors, nothing more.
I think we both have roughly the same experience and seem to have similar views. Good enough for me.

Also looks like most of the posts are linked to companies getting hit hard ? Not doing too good with your own choices of companies either, so why call everyone else out when you are losing so much ?

Good spot Gavnav. They did 3 x £10,000 a couple of weeks ago, but that was during the week. I would have thought the London Stock Exchange would have had trades cleaned up by 17:00 on a Friday ?
Aim is a sespit but as always dyor and never trust anyone posting , and the example here is my little error , "hands held firmly up" but also many other claims made about another company not ALK.
