She will also officially inaugurate the new British Consulate General in Perth, which, combined with Tuesday’s pledge, underlines the UK’s commitment to build diplomatic and economic ties across the whole continent of Australia."

Rio wanted in to Europe , probsbly have some supply deals prior to the mine operations beig terminated by the locals blicking entry.
Guess they are ooking at investing in the uk and lithium ? Sure looking like they want in to the uk and have HUGE mines in Pilbara region, with monopoly of the infrastructure to Port Hedland !
