Get this Ferbercia ammonia solar project right and get it up and running , 800 MW of ELECTROLYSER supply could look small ! Go have a gooood look.

CONTRACT 20 MW Electrolyser for green fertilizer project in Spain CONFIRMED ! So when the 1GW , then 2GW factory opens in Heroya this year , what about the 1980MW's being produced per year ? Some massive contracts coming.
Ask yourself why build with expense a 2GW Electrolyser factory with no need for an extra 1GW ? The future looks very very good here.

Next Gen HYDROGEN Electrolyser.
A redox-flow battery, in essence a reversible fuel cell, is typically made up of a positive and negative electrolyte stored in two separate tanks. When the liquids are pumped into the battery cell stack situated between the tanks, a redox reaction occurs, and generates electricity at the battery’s electrodes.

By comparison, the new invention has only one electrolyte, comprised of an iron salt (rather than the more commonly used vanadium) dissolved in acid. When hydrogen ions react with the iron salt (Fe2+), hydrogen gas is produced at the platinum-coated carbon cathode in the battery stack.

“We introduce iron as a middleman, so we can separate electrolysis into two reactions,” says Wang. Doing so allows one to control where and when to reverse the reaction to produce electrical energy to supply to the grid. “The system gives you flexibility... you could do the regeneration during evening time when electricity prices are at a peak,” he says.

Regenerating Fe2+ in the reverse reaction also allows for the continuous production of hydrogen gas, he says. “And because the hydrogen-iron cell uses about half the voltage of a traditional electrolyzer, you can generate hydrogen at a much cheaper cost if you do everything right.”

It also helps that iron is much cheaper and more abundant compared with vanadium.

Qing Wang, a materials scientist at the National University of Singapore, sees another benefit. “If you care more about purity and want to have ultra-pure hydrogen, then maybe it’s a good solution,” he says. Cross-contamination can sometimes occur during electrolysis because the hydrogen and oxygen gases produced are so small that they are able to traverse the membrane separator.

HYDROGEN DOOSAN
The Dolphyn project, led by Environmental Resources Management Limited (ERM), is looking at green hydrogen production at scale from offshore floating wind in deep water locations using seawater. The hydrogen would then be piped directly to shore. The concept consists of a large-scale floating wind turbine (nominally 10 MW) with an integrated water treatment unit and electrolysers for localised hydrogen production. They’ve got £3.12 million UK Govt funding under the Hydrogen Supply Competition Phase 2 round to do detailed design of a 2 MW prototype system, with a view to making a final investment decision on a 2MW prototype facility by March 2021. The development plan for the project has a target date for the operational start-up of the 2MW prototype facility by summer 2024. A full-scale 10MW, pre-commercial facility is planned to follow by 2027, with full scale commercialisation shortly afterwards. Read more here. Early July 2020, Specialist hydrogen company Nel and South Korean multinational conglomerate Doosan were announced as partners on this project. September 28, ERM revealed it’s location for the 2MW and 10MW demos will be off Aberdeen, within the Kincardine offshore wind farm, and based on a design similar to that used at that site.

If a set of 10MW turbines were deployed on a large 4GW wind farm, as ERM eventually plans, the cost of production could drop from £3.50/kg down to £1.50/kg by 2045. To give an idea of the overall scale, the 10MW will produce 900 tonnes per year, the 100MW will produce 9,000 tonnes/year and a 4GW (20 x 20 10MW turbines) would produce 360,000 tonnes/ year. ERM estimates a total of 28 such 4GW wind farms could produce enough to totally rid the UK of its gas requirements. "

US IWATANI SHELL H2 Sations provided by NEL. Expansion will be fast.
"The seven new retail stations will deploy the latest hydrogen fuel dispensing technology provided by Nel Hydrogen. Each station will have two fueling positions and each will be capable of supplying up to 900 kilograms of hydrogen per day.

This expansion is Iwatani’s largest to date single investment in California and will bring the company’s total global hydrogen refueling station network to 64."

U.S. Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center, there are currently 44 hydrogen fueling stations in the country. Only a few of those stations are currently generating hydrogen with on-site electricity using electrolysis.

NEL's deal to supply 7 initial electrolysers for collaboration with Toyota Iwatani and Shell is a major step in a very pro active California state.

This project on its own is probably worth the current NEL share price alone !

The hydrogen hub in Port Los Angeles in combination with the hydrogen hub in Ontario to supply the whole of Canada and the US as a hydrogen network is set up by SHELL ITAWANI again once done will be worth above the current value of NEL share price.

Question is that 2.2MW per day created or @@ 352 MW PER DAY over 1GW PER YEAR without the upgrade to an already confirmed 4th new line with little cost to take automated 24/7 production PER YEAR from just one of NEL's working factories to 2GW ?

VERY STRONG BUY to my eyes. It doesn't even take in to account the US Factory was Proton OnSite now NEL's in Wallingford, USA.
