IMO, I think it still has its place in a some investors toolkits but for daily (short term) info, as it is live information and not really forward looking. Of course if you were a trader it is an even more useful tool. I agree with you though it's learning curve to get the best from it is quite steep and information on how to use can be hard to come by, although I know from experiece Barclays did provide some info on how to trade with BARX.

Hi Dubs, I did use BARX platform for a while and that was pretty good. I don't trade like I once did though - lots of my money is now in ETO ;-), but still miss the info/insight this level of data sometimes provides. There are lots of L2 platforms to choose from though - just search google. If you are interested in using for info/curiosity purposes you should see if you can find either a free/cheap trial.

Hi Dubs, This is when Level 2 data comes in handy to see what's on the 'book'. Basically shares can vary day to day on what the MM's are buying selling and the trigger points for movement is based on these allotments that are available to buy/sell. I would say it is good that the price is moving up on low volume as it shows that the amount (volume) of shares that are available to sell is currently small (at any given price point) and therefore buying moderate amount of shares triggers a lift in the SP before you move to the next value on the book that for example may be .50p higher. Hope that offers some clarity - that is my understanding anyway. :-)

Hi Chan, I think you have hit the nail on the head - the news is not regulatory therefore was not released in this way, but a press report comes out and the SP moves significantly (although I would not assume this it all to do with the press release), the markets (investors) as you'll know look all over the place for direction (tips) and the free press sometimes has the most significant impact. This is not new news but is now relevant now as his appointment is now live. I see too the Ivestec's new targart - let's hope we see this soon.

Chan, this has been in the public domain - as I recall reading this on their website somewhere (a movie division newletter?) but agree there has been no fanfare. ETO SP moving up nicely, I sit at my screen in amazement and excitement!

Bazrington, I must admit, I haven't looked at the reasons extensively but ever since the change from onshore to offshore subisidy was announced by the government this has fallen fairly hard, previous to that it was the ex. div. effect. My opinion hasn't changed yet, but look forward to possible clarity from management in next IMS. DYOR.

Although I make sure I do not rely too heavily on Broker ratings, I think a buy rating onsensus is accumulating - possibly with our higher profile. However even more interesting are their price targets that sit all in the same proximity.

New broker coverage (Nplus1) with price target of 258. Value being seen by others and knock on effect should mean higher profile especially now with FTSE 250 inclusion.

Chan, as you said previously it was only a matter of time before another borker rating was released - Investec have just reiterated with a 270p price target.

Good find. Pre-release reviews not that shining on IMDB though, but topic should appeal to broad number of people. On another note got a flyer through the door for Peppa Pig and B&H Litte Kindom Personalised books. Expect this sort of Merch. to ramp up as we get closer to xmas - hopefully we have some good royalty 'tie ins'. Bobbing about 215-225 range atm happy to wait for more good news...

Chan, I wonder too. The SP finally seems to be gaining some momentum and as I commented a while ago, I see no reason why we should see sub 200p again. There will be news in not too distant future on US Merchandising impact, as we head for 2nd year of US sales.
