I wouldn't be so bold as to give a day or date for the next RNS but whenever it comes I am certain it will be good news. I cannot guarantee the share price either but I'm as confident as I could be that once we get the RNS (or plural) the share price isn't going to stick at these levels ... So if you want to get on the bus get on tomorrow as you will never get on at the next stop ... it's miles away. And you are welcome to get on too Sly, Charlie et al ... No hard feelings.

As mentioned we can be pretty glad that the UK government has rolled out the vaccination programme so quickly and a large percentage of the population have had both jabs ... My concern is that those who have been double jabbed may feel (as in the words of Andrew Marr) "invincible ... That is a dangerous condition to be in with a virus that is mutating so quickly ... My gut feel is we haven't seen the worse yet ... I'm not letting my guard down.

The vaccines may be "kicking butt" for now and we can be glad they have been made available ... I am ... BUT that may not always be the case, and what about those poor unfortunates that cannot get jabs due to no fault of their own?

Blackisleboy. I'm not good at giving values but the longer they wait the more milestones SAR will meet ... so my guess is the company will become more valuable as time goes on ... But don't take my word for it. If you scroll back far enough on the BB others have given a blow by blow account of expected values.

The entry point into SAR is not going to last forever. Dare I say: "I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend"

Offers: Companies have information discussions all the time. Tim et al are very well connected in the pharmaceutical world. You can imagine the conversation "Tim how about £xxb for everything you have". Tim: "come back when you are prepared to be sensible". Of course such conversations would be strictly off the record and quite cordial. Only when a formal proposal is made would they need to report via an RNS.

I cannot for one minute imagine that the big pharmas cannot see what SAR has. What I can imagine is that they are knocking on the door and Tim et al are very busy telling them they need to do more in the way of offers etc. A bit like the teacher's report that says "can do better". Many in the past felt that our bod was not doing enough to let the pharmaceutical world know what we have. Whether that was the case or not I am certain they now know. I cannot predict what the outcome may be, take over? Partnership? Go alone pharmaceutical company, dividend farm etc etc. What I can predict is when all the ducks are put in a row the result will be nothing short of ballistic. Not long to wait now.

Thoth and others have given some excellent research links. What does this tell us? Spanish flu, AIDS, mad cow disease, Ebola, covid and all the other nasties out there are a serious threat to humankind. The "Run of the mill" diseases have already been either well controlled or eradicated but covid is different ... This beast is mutating all the time ... I consider us to be in a prodromal stage of the pandemic ... I hate to be the harbinger of bad news but the 3rd wave is coming and it will be in full swing by the winter ... If covid mutates to the extent that the vaccines become ineffective we will all be up the creek big time. Making asinine comments or splitting hairs is rather unhelpful. I really hope I am proved wrong.

SOG, Thoth, et al ... So well put. As for me as and when the funds from my pension reach me (it's taking forever) I will be able to wait another couple of years for SAR to reach its full potential, so I'm not in a hurry ... But I really don't think I'll have to wait that long. I just want to top up at these levels as I don't think there's much time left before this rockets. SOG totally agree. I understand the different strategies to investing so each to his/her own. Also contrarian views add value and balance. What most irritates me most is when someone moronically trashes a share or a director just for the sake of it. Or those who swing handbags from 20 paces at each other. I have seen this all too often on the other boards I visit. If I lose confidence in a share I take the loss and move on I cannot see any reason to stick around and irritate others. Neither do I visit other boards where I have no holding ... That's a bit like stalking. What I do appreciate here is the research and thought that goes into some of the posts. Some of the research takes considerable time and effort and saves others the same. We all want SAR to do well otherwise we wouldn't be here. But thanks to all the posts that add value ...
