Good consolidation today, should see some increase tomorrow. Why do you see setting high sell limits as having a material effect on the share price? .... Genuine question.
The price went up on a number of issues covid was a one of them but when you look at the size of the grant that was a minor issue. Trouble is in the AIM market rumor can be taken as fact. Look at the fundamentals for this share. When some of the milestones are reached we will see the true value. Trouble is you might have to wait for it. And waiting is not a popular pastime on the AIM board.
Managed to average down today so much, much happier. Once investors get over the COVID vaccine ... as mentioned not proven yet ... they will see SAR for what its worth. Shame the MM's had such a free hand over the last couple of days ... should be outlawed.
Well done everyone, looks like I sold too early! Got really burnt today on another board, and my broker was off line most of the day ... I'm going to cry in my whisky glass ... and it wont be a single malt tonight.
I got badly burnt today. However I may get the chance to average down tomorrow. I had the same problems with my broker today, processed my purchase but then site went down for the rest of the day. IMO it's good that we have shed the COVID "Boy Racers" this share is more than a possible COVID vaccine. I'm going to cry in my whisky glass.
I am frankly quite surprised how this share moves about like something on the AIM board. There is underlying value no doubt, but I couldn't wait. I think a consolidation will help to weed out some of the "boy racers" - but hey ho they also need to make a living too. All the best everyone I really hope you all do well. I will be lurking around though so it's only ta ta for now. Cheers Mafuta
I agree there is huge potential for this share but looks like there is price manipulation going on. I would have sat on my hands on this one, but as I have said needed to use the cash elsewhere. All good things come to those that wait comes to mind. Cheers
Just sold my very small holding in AML - just about broke even. I needed the cash to average down some holdings in different sectors. I may dip back in again when the opportunity arises - all the best everyone, hope you all do well. Cheers Mafuta
Sorry should have introduced myself. I'm holder of a few shares not many but trying to build my pension pot. Definately not a deramper I want AML to get as high as it can. Many years ago made and lost a fortune on derivatives but got the tee shirt and scars. Never ever have shorted, don't have the funds or the gonads. Hope everyone makes a profit. :0)
Consolidation would have a stabilising effect IMO will just have to wait and see. First time I have ever go such a message from a broker, I usually have to scour RNS for any info.
"Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings Plc has announced a potential capital reorganisation, which means there is a proposed significant change to a company or group?s structure. There may also be a consolidation through which your existing shares will be exchanged for a smaller number of shares. Any further details will be released upon receipt."
Just my pennies worth ... you can also spread the risk if you have a spouse by gifting a portion of your holdings to him/her. All mine are under an ISA wrapper so are CGT exempt. I would advise the assistance of a financial/tax adviser if you are in the higher tax bracket and have large holdings. I'm retired with no income (squandering my children's inheritance) so I'm in the lower tax bracket. The advice on getting your holdings into an ISA is very sound IMHO. (BTW I am not qualified to give financial advice). Cheers Mafuta.
