No such thing as a stupid question ... but plenty of stupid answers ... Some companies choose to remain in AIM even if their MCaps are high ... My view is why move to the main board if you don't have to, as there are some benefits staying on the AIM ... I think SAR will be bought out before they even start considering a move.

And the UK government are already getting cold feet over the total relaxation of C19 restrictions later this month .... Rome is already burning and the violinists are busy practicing ... I cannot see and end to this by the end of the year I'm afraid.

There are general exemptions to submitting a TR1 such as:
• Shares acquired for the sole purpose of clearing and settlement within a 3 day settlement period
• Shares held by a custodian/nominee provided that they only exercise the voting rights under instruction
*Shares held by a MM
* Shares held by a bank or investment firm in a trading book
* Shares transferred as collateral with no intention to exercise voting rights
* Shares borrowed under a stock lending agreement
* Some investment and asset managers and asset managers within certain thresholds

Plus a number of other devious ways no doubt.

I'm just pleased we have support to the tune of £900K.

The RNS is a "don't panic Mr Mainwaring" message. Everything is under control. Never mind the Ox deal that's small change compared to the billion dollar expectations they have. They must have some interesting news on the way to state that. Looking for a blue day today.

I take it that this means this will not only fund the covid studies but also the "conventional" applications of this compound?

There are signs the UK is in the early stages of a third wave of coronavirus infections, a scientist advising the government has said. Prof Ravi Gupta, from the University of Cambridge, said although new cases were "relatively low" the Indian variant had caused "exponential growth". He said ending Covid restrictions in England on 21 June should be postponed.
Environment Secretary George Eustice said the government could not rule out a delay to the planned lock-down easing. On Sunday, the UK reported more than 3,000 new Covid infections for a fifth successive day.

Prior to this, the UK had not surpassed that number since 12 April.

Vietnam has detected a Covid variant that appears to be a combination of the Indian and UK variants and can spread quickly by air, officials say. Vietnam's Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long described the latest mutation on Saturday as "very dangerous".

Health experts are investigating a new 'Thai variant' of Covid-19 which has been connected to more than 100 cases in the UK. The variant, known as VUI-21MAY-02 (C.36.3), was first detected in Thailand in people who had travelled from Egypt, Public Health England (PHE) has confirmed. There have now been 109 cases detected in the UK, PHE said in an update.
