WIP I would strongly advise the services of a financial adviser and a tax adviser in that scenario ... yes i know they cost money but if you get the right one the advice is priceless ... I wouldn't be in a hurry to take any cash proceeds out of the ISA wrapper for tax reasons ... I would put any proceed of sold shares in a fund inside the ISA until you get proper advice. .. just my penny's worth and I'm not qualified either ... What a lovely dilemma to be in ...Mafuta

Secondly we have someone who is happy to front £900k which they would not have done without due diligence ... Yes there is always a risk factor in pharmaceutical companies but in my opinion the risk has been substantially reduced not only by the individual of high net worth but also by the subtle comments of management of late, it's like they cannot contain their excitement ... The coronavirus variant first discovered in India could potentially be up to 100% more transmissible than the Kent version, a leading epidemiologist has warned. Professor Neil Ferguson said that early data around the variant - which has been renamed 'Delta' by the World Health Organization - has placed the increased transmissibility anywhere between 30% and 100%, thought the current best estimate is 60%. Prof Ferguson, who is a member of the government's New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (Nervtag), said the signs were "pointing in a more negative direction" and that caution is needed around any easing of restrictions across the UK in the coming days.

I understand the need for people to get out and about and enjoy life but the old adage "better is a live dog than a dead lion" comes to mind. We need an effective therapeutic more than ever, vaccines alone are not going to do the trick.
