Omicron according to the UK scientists is doubling every 2-3 days, and without measures etc it will engulf us as we saw with Delta.

Testing will be required for a very long time indeed. Genuinely believe this to be an investment than a one of trade IMHO

Genedrive PLC - Manchester, England-based molecular diagnostics firm - Covid-19 test kit is awarded European certification. Genedrive's rapid molecular diagnostic test COV19-ID Kit receives certification under the European Communities Council Directive. Genedrive says its test kit delivers positive results as quickly as 7.5 minutes and negative results at 17 minutes. The Omicron variant of the coronavirus does not affect the assay design of the test, company claims. Genedrive's initial commercial focus is on the EU and will be followed by the UK.

Chief Executive David Budd comments:
"This is an important milestone in the development of our new rapid molecular COVID19-ID test and we can now move forward with our commercial plans."

This will now open up the markets - great position to be in.

One contract now can send this sky high where it should be.

If you ask me if i wanted a 40% gain in a year on my savings, and could wait time for it, my answer would be a flying Yes!

But we investors expect big returns in a week or two. These prices would've been a god send a few weeks ago just ask those who bought at 1.15p not long ago.

Will average down after some gains are made elsewhere.

The fact is, people cannot yet differentiate between the common flu and Covid whichever variant.

Testing will therefore be required for a very, very long time.

Now it boils down to which test is most accurate and has a quick turnaround time - GDR's test fits that, the problem is they need to sell them! And the govt or institutions whether in the EU, Africa or Asia need to opt for GDR's test.

The EU approval would be a great start for GDR - maybe the rest of the non western world who cannot afford to purchase huge supplies of vaccines should be a place to market their tests.

Its a safe zone IMHO not to mention the rest of GDR's potential assets.

I think the tables might just be turning for GDR and by extension the shareholders. Approximately 100%+ so far on the SP qnd we haven't even had the awaited RNS yet.

Great time to buy and hold.

When Covid is present!! Which is what's happened now. Theres discussion by top scientists that current vaccines will most likely not provide a strong protection against Omicron and many other variants of the same nature.

Enter testing. We need a test that can identify multiple strains.

Can this test do it?

I cant see any other moment Budd can capitalist on than this. This translates to - if GDR isn't gonna multibag now, then when will it? What are people waiting for? For the actual tests to sell?
