Wouldn’t surprise me if Capital Group either donoring stock to shorts , pumping and dumping, washing and rinsing, you name it they are doing to cover all their bases here. They for sure don’t to be at a loss here.

All it took to temper things down was a statement on cash position (if all was ok) which is what they promised never mind anything else. At least 3 weeks into review we still haven’t even got that.

What do they expect now, patience and sympathy? Do me a favour.

Major shareholders should be calling for an emergency investor meeting with BoD to get expectation of release dates of news. Wonder what the likes of HSBC and Barclays investments are advising their big clients now who have invested in this

This sp has probably now got a 50/50 changes of reach £6 this week on no news as it has to recover to £12.

The thinking here is simple.The longer it has taken NMC to put out ‘good’ news out on Cash position, the more shorters likely see it as being not so good news and their confidence grows more and more and they will keep testing sp on that basis.

This sp is now reaching level that are less than 20% of its all time high which was reached only 15 months ago This is a slaughter ffs

The big outlier here for me is Capital Group with a massive 12% holding its peers
Their position and exposure in this stock is now massive and they alone can have a big influence on this sp if they decide to anything with their collateral eg short donor to hedge, or just dumping a huge stock pile in advance of news which they will undoubtedly get wind of before retail investors do

Wiser - you did well with Easyjet. That’s. another FTSE stock that has big short positions on it. Have been eyeing that one for short term punt

Since Freeh announcement which was weeks ago now and was last positive progressive piece of news form NMC the sp,temporaririy rallied and went to 15.80 and since then has just been spiralling down and down on no more progressive news.

So it is clear that market will only react positively now to concrete progressive news from NMC and not rhetoric nor repetitive statements like news today will change that fact and shorter inflence all the sentiment right now on this sp.

Trading right now you are dancing with the devil and go toe to toe against professional shorting who have access to far more news, data, moles, whistleblowers, you name it , than we do. But good luck if you try and get this on the downslope.

The longer we are with out new news in feb, the lower this sp will go. It’s as simple as that. This sp will no standstill and wait for anyone

We will soon see. Yesterday’s large close of play to transaction of £22m can only show in one of 2 places. A RNS statement showing Holding in a company change or a big short reduction appearing on FCA short disclosure report where this should feature in tomorrow’s update

This maybe just me here, but I again found this RNt to minamilost and conservative in its content and still very defensive. The review has been going on for weeks now and they have seen what has been happening to:the sp!during this time, not just yesterday. They had the chance at this stage to add more certainty by a t least giving a date for first release of report from Free on cash but hey chose not to.

Instead they put out the same rhetoric about strong performance inline with mgmt is inline with mgmt expectation. Sorry, but we need , new and more progresssive news than this,. This news leaves in the same postition we were yestersay . No one know when news will come out and what it will be like.

Sorry for being frank, but I’m still not convinced here, but I still feel they are buying time. The sp has been going down and down throughout review and not just yesterday based on nomprogressive and this RNS still inane enough.

Tinatots - Agreed. There is also a massive £11m UT trades nestled in there amongst all the market close which to me is equally worrying.

I don’t think we are going to see any of these transaction announced on RNS until Wed at earliest if it a change of major holding, so tomorrow could be more uncertainty, if I’m expecting a different Rns tomorrow.

This will be either the news around the cash position which now looks nowhere near market expectation based on sp. or we have another margin call and bookbuild for Mr Shetty. MW report did not highlight any specific loans pledged against Nmc shares under Mr Shetty so this is probablly less likley.

It speculates the 2m shares were a sell out by a major shareholder. But the trade systems I see only show a buy trade. If someone sold and then it was purchased you shouod surely see both sides of transaction come up as both a sell and a buy of this quantity or alternatively a UT if a buy and sell price was preagreed and matched. Instead only a buy transaction is shown and that would lead me to believe that this is more likely sign of a short closing eg AQR. Where they borrowed a big bulk of funds that they sold months ago, and now have put in the purchase order to close out the short and handed back the stock to donor (eg Capital Group)

This is how I interpret this.

According on trades on this site it’s a buy. But what amazes me is some of the other buy trades at market close which are in 10s and 100s of £000s. Have u seen the sp that was bought in at . Wtf!!! This is nuts! There are buys in the 12s and 13s

Re big short: No change on today’s update, but that rpestesents position as @ 30/1. I m sure there was a 4m buy on Friday mkt close , so hopefully see that in tomorrows update on shorttracker

Today’s marke buy surge, we have to pray are also big shorts closing and they will be confirmed on Wed update. I think we are coming to a crossroads with this company this week re news and this will set the path of this company and the sp for the next few years.

Capital Group have the size of collateral,to,do anything that will swing this stock. They have over 15% holding

Q - The whole market is crooked. Especially when there is a very weak stock on full defense mode. It’s incestous to say the least and they will will have moles and whistle blowers everywhere willing to leak info for right price

If this goes below 10 all the IIs will be dumping in imo. This over 20% down to bookbuild prices
