IMO, seeing how things are still unravelling with the major owners, biggest worry is definitely debt that needs to be service and cash . If this is way in excess of 2BN, which is a distinct possibility valuing this company is going to be a big problem. No - one is going to bid £10 a share if it has a debt mountain bigger than market cap.
This may require a sale of assets ie hopsital,in other countries to,downsize company and make debt manageable vs a sustainable business model and then if company want to consider takeover bids I suspect that will be single digit offers to absorb debt
In this scenario, sp will likely stay in relatively low for probably 3 years while, organic picks up,again in a much smaller business entrerprise.
Fosun was linked with a 40% stake back in Q3 last year when sp was mid 20s and NMc built this up , but it amounted to nothing. Either it wasnt true and just speculation to build up interest in stockm try and ward off mounting increase of short postions, , or Fosun looked at the business model, and could see the potential holes Freeh is graduallly unravelling now.
I am a generally a conservative optimist, neither a ramperm or deramper as some of the hyenas on this BB. I will say what I see and try and be Constructive. .maybe right and maybe wrong, but I look to understand facts that are presented and not be blinkered here.
Right now this sp,is not being driven by company performance, it is on pure speculation and spin and noise. This stock is now a gossip column in trading world and it is being treated like a circus.
Need to have clarity of thought here and just look at what you know fact wise from sources and reports both good and bad and what you still don’t know and that you need to know ( this sits with Freeh)
I will decide whether or bail or not in next few, days
