I wasnt in Rose when the got rid on Mancos, i have done some research, the plan was to develop Mancos first as it was cheap to extract the oil and the wells were shallower. Whilst drilling the Mancos the oil prices were already in a downturn, the first well wasnt economical and also the 2014 cpr said the Mancos had a 30% COS and the Paradox had a 56% COS, Rose are a small company they had to relinquish one and i believe they took the right choice, Paradox is low risk and with the current 2018 cpr one can speculate the COS has even increased with the 3d data.

Waiting for news so they can finally start drilling.

What about interim results? :-)

Oh dear Southey Now you raising the bar again, exploration is risky but rose have done their homework and the cos of the wells they want to drill is over 50%. They deliberately just analysed the clastic 21 as it is a proven oil producing zone, the team that increased fidelities production from 100bopd to 3500bopd are working for rose now. They have great knowledge of the area.

it maybe, but the apds have been applied for and they are in the hands of the BLM, Rose cannot speed up the process.

Hopefully the Interim results should have some updates and will be interested to see cash levels.

SuperR Alot of other investors who were positive on rose moved on because the progress was slow. Now i think all the jigsaws are in place, rose moving forward. Next 3 months will be interested soon.

SuperR I am just following company rns's and watching the interviews the bod have done. Idien has said on a number of occasions they want jv and want to limit dilution. I believe this was a mistake and should have kept at we are looking at various funding options , now should they go for placing he will look like a fool. They have cantor on board so there still is a chance of placing but its not the end of the world, had the mkt cap been over 30m and they raised 6.5m to drill one well i would have been concerned but at current sp its not too bad. Also worth noting should they do placing at current price the shares in issue increase by 200% and then the bod can be thrown out by large holders, not sure they want that. At the moment its a screaming buy with both options. Imho

South Again crying about the past, the mill was loss making, rose had two option either: 1)They keep the mill and start work on the paradox basin, losing money and causing more dilution. 2) sell the mill and concentrate solely on paradox basin which will give better shareholder value. I think rose made good choice.

But mkt is valuing the company at over 100m, here we are at 3.5m who have potentially over 1bn barrels of oil in place and over 2tcf of gas in out asset.

Where would you invest, in lenigas/stevenson adventure or Idiens/eadie adventure.

MrC Again, independent verified cpr with best estimates of 2C resource of 15mboe net to rose, again only looking at one zone and small part of acreage. Company is not making this up, plenty more upside. If you guys are going to repeat i will too.

South Your statement does have a little bias to it, so all the actions taken by the board since last nov in the paradox basin is worthless and management are fooling us to fulfil their yearly wages? That is utter tosh, i could understand if company were looking for asset and just burning away our cash resources on wages, this isnt the case. Since last nov rose has 1) commenced 3d survey on 20% of acreage 2) they analysed the data 3) hired team which designed the wells 4) they took time and applied for 3 permits which can take 6 months from start of process to end. 5) issued an independant cpr for the surveyed area 6) appointed cantor to help them get funding for the lucrative contract if you look at our mkt cap. I dont think the board have sat idle waiting, they are actually progressing the project. Rose cannot control when the apds are released its upto the blm who is independent govt institution. South im sorry if you are still moaning about the 100-1 consolidation which has cost you money, this is the stock mkt and everyone knows the risk, especially smallcaps.
