H2 well is updip so slightly on higher ground.

DQE know the geology well, they have drilled dozens of wells very close to matd find. PC/DQE own block 19 and 21. They will likely want a slice of matd block 20.

H2 has netpay over 5m, h1 had 12m. The permeability and porosity readings are similar for both wells.

H2 will flow, but you have to remember h1 was third highest flow rate in mongolia. We can expect that with h2 too. But imho it will be commercial..

They said within the month of october the construction will be completed, its the PC deal for transport. Without PC deal they cant sell the oil. H1 might be ready.

Its a no brainer now on the cusp to commercialisation.

Petrochina/dqe have spent millions on infrastructure in mongolia and their production is declining. With matd block 20 so close to their infrastructure JV makes sense to them as they can benefit with limited risk as they have the infrastructure.

Mark my words if matd are producing this year next year PC and matd will have a JV signed...
