There is a thought they might have been a tad naughty and NOT being updating it as far as PGD was concerned and it'll simply disappear from their portfolio. IF SO it should happen within the next few days. Worth keeping an eye on.

In theory the funds from the COSE disposal plus production revenue from Cap O then that SHOULD prevent the need for fundraising. Having said that - this is PGD who have a history of cash burn like no other!!

Stewy.....a handful of trades in the first 2 hours after a RNS being published hardly constitutes "plenty of buying this morning". You need to look at some other small cap miners and compare interest & constant volume of trades. 100:1 ratio compared to PGD.

Under the circumstances not too bad an update. Although probably not enough to have buyers flock back in. It was kinda obvious something was 'up' over past 3-6 months. Yet another objective (at Cap O) not achieved despite several promises over the past 12 months to the contrary. At least now, at last, Cap O appears to be on the straight & narrow. Ironic the first upbeat comments made in a RNS about Lomada over achieving - given production is now near ending. The silver project btw is only an Option. To be exercised before 8 Dec. Looooong way to go after that before it brings home the bacon and has any material impact on the sp. Hopefully Q1 in 2018 they will publish production numbers that shows they are actually delivering on target. Hope springs eternal. All bets are off for a 5p by Xmas. Unfortunately.

Yes, shareminator, it was a tad 'lighter' than I thought it'd be in terms of dilution. Although not sure it compares that favourably to the last fund raiser only 6 months back at 2.7p which raised 2 million. The main directors have always but always participated in the countless Placements over the past 10+ years. Kind of a pre-requisite (otherwise why would anyone else??). They've been paid enough over those many years to be able to afford it. Resource update due this quarter. Let's see what number that throws up. Hopefully a game changer. But I ain't holding my breath.

They're not delayed sells. Just reporting of them delayed. Being Friday night - MMs probably in the pub as soon after Close as they can. Last Friday after Close pretty quiet too. PGD lost over 20% of its value in past 7 days!! Let's hope this is the end. Doesn't inspire confidence.

What I can't believe is when I sold some at 43p I didn't sell the friggin lot I was holding at the time. ***t for brains, or what??!! I sold shed loads at 8p (mainly at a loss) more in disgust at their performance. What possessed me to then buy back in????!!! If this selling carries on & on for another month or so I'll start to get suspicious about it being manipulated for being taken Private. But only if the selling goes on at the rate it has. And the share price keeps dropping south. Ah well, as Cookie might say "All good. Lots going on"

Van Eck (and BlackRock) seemingly had a change of investment strategy about 12-18 months (??) ago. Might have been 2 years ago. The same thing happened to the PGD share price that is happening at the moment. Only back then PGD's price was considerably higher. Both had circa 70 million shares. BlackRock dumped the lot. Van Eck 50%. It was carnage at the time. These type of institutional investors are entirely dispassionate about how much pain or damage they do to the share price. They even don't care about the price they sell at, let alone have any concerns about the spread. They just want out. So that they can re-invest any proceeds freed-up elsewhere. The spread is so wide so that the MMs can make some money for having to hold more stock than they ideally want before they sell them on later. Hence the reason they drop the Bid too on virtually any large sell transaction.

There was a time you could go to Van Eck's website and view their portfolio which was updated every day. So, you could easily work out what stock they were buying and what they were selling. And how much. Sadly you can't do that anymore. Hence exactly why I flagged up on this forum about 9 months ago my concerns about Van Eck as it was just a matter of how soon they were going to sell. Not IF they were. I got ****ged off at the time by the master analyst & private investor Cookie for de-ramping. Maybe he's the one selling here? So he can load up at ALO if that ever relists - it hasn't traded during 2017

I thought/hoped the selling had stopped last Friday. Obviously not. There'd only be a holdings RNS after certain thresholds are crossed. And even then it's sometimes delayed reporting (ie months later) if the accountants pick up on it. This is AIM after all. Not the same regulatory controls in place as there should be. I wondered if it might be Humphries. Unlikely. He holds I think 35+ million or there abouts with Options etc. I don't know anything about Cinco Vientos Uruguay who back in 2012 held just shy of 60 million. That reduced to 45 million in 2015 AR. And then out of 3% holding by 2016 AR and quantity not reported. PGD's Uruguay project has gone seriously quiet, eh? Just a thought. Given how many months the selling has consistently been going on for it surely has to be the same solo seller. And one who can stomach a huge loss. For me, still got all the hallmarks of being Van Eck. Unless it's someone from the Concert Party which seems highly unlikely - selling in the manner that's gone on ie constant drip-feed via MMs. The only other possible is Arconas and their holding is 85 million. Know nothing of them other than they have a substantial holding in Landore and seemingly longstanding 'mates' of Humphries & Prickett.

I'd be gobsmacked if Miguens & the Concert Party put their hands in their pockets for yet another Placement. More likely to start the formal process of the 4.5p exercise price to take the Company private.

I take some comfort that the smallish dilution and amount of funds raised gives a little hope that an end game MIGHT be getting nearer. And 'fair' play the funding at 2p being a relatively 'fair' price. Next 3-6 months should shed more light on that hope of mine. Resource upgrade to nearer 1 million ozs this Qtr be a nice start. Sudbury calling??? LOL.

If it is Van Eck then it's fair to assume the sells are coming to an end. They must be taking a huge loss on PGD. But that's the way they operate. Make impressive profits on many investments and take a hit on the odd one or 2 to transfer funds into something else that fits their current portfolio/strategy. PGD annual earnings might soon be greater than the Mkt Cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIZARRE.

For me....... LND is all about Humps. Bit like Lord Sugar is to 'The Apprentice'. Yes, they both have and rely upon a couple of trusted helpers. But essentially it's their 'show' or their 'baby'. And if either were not to be there as the figurehead then it'd not be anything like the same and would likely quickly be 'curtains'. Humps is kicking on for 80 years of age. Hasn't achieved anything material to lay his hat on for 20 years or so. Since BNC days. Some might say he's been a bit of a one trick pony. As for Prickett - well, look at his CV........ he's an OAP accountant that cheerfully admits he can't tell one rock from another....... he's been associated with so many business failures there isn't enough space on this forum to list them. Successes? Again only BNC. And if you analysis that BNC disposal........ frankly it was in the very early days of AIM during the dot.com bubble time and simply wouldn't happen in today's market.

The House Broker ought to stop sleeping and put out a Note. Okay it'll be slightly biased being the HB and their historic price targets-v-achievement have turned out to be s**t predictions......... but it's better than no PR. Unless they're privy to priviledged info that prevents a Note at this point in time being a smart move. Goodness it's looooong overdue.

I am buying today and hold over 1 million PGD stock........ yet you accuse me of de-ramping!!!! Dear oh dear pal......... am just trying to be honest & realistic.
