Stewy the 2 x 1,000k trades weren't reported at the time when my post yesterday was made. FACT. Just because there's a seller about doesn't mean there's a Placement coming. Seems there's been a persistent seller about for several months now. The sells have to be worked in & through the system by the MMs somehow. It is against AIM rules & regs for trades not to be reported. The only time that should happen is when shares trade privately and/or not via the MMs. 3p by Friday. PoG going BOOM. LMAO.

No, there hasn't. Show me the actual trades then. All I see is no delayed/protected trades of any real volume or value since the 12th.......... and I'm including in that one single 250k sell trade (loose change). There's loads of valid reasons why there's been a distressed seller about. Like I pointed out with Van Eck (change of corporate strategy). Also, like some PI having held for ages has suddenly fallen on hard times and desperate for any money they can lay their hands on. There's quite a few other plausible reasons. I admit another Placement can't entirely be ruled out BUT that would be a bitter pill given only 5 months ago they had considerable proceeds from the COSE disposal. That'd be some cash burn (even by PGD standards) to need further capital so soon. And given also (hopefully) current production revenues from Cap O and Lomada.

Using your example as a benchmark. ie 10 million ozs = $1 billion sale tag. Ref LND resource estimate - you posted last month it could go up to 500k ozs. Given there's a certain pending share dilution taking share circulation to over 1 billion that equates to a share price comparison (to Newmont Mining deal) of 5p. 5p is less than LND launched on AIM over a decade ago. And has touched 20p at one point. If you invested at say 15-17p then LND has performed rather badly even if it secures an outright purchaser. Admittedly there might be a premium attraction on extraction costs that'd make the figures more healthy. And LND have other mineral projects other than gold. None that are profitable mind at the mo to go to production stage. Let's hope they don't settle for a JV as BH be 100 years old by time that goes into production.

Yes Ocean, I remember all the similar ramping just prior to Lomada going into production a couple of years back and how it'd be the promised land just around the corner. Then PGD's sp was circa 4.5p - 5.5p. Just goes to show......... talking the talk....... is entirely different to walking the walk.

Suspect a seller was about. Went into auction mode very early doors. When Bid dropped. 100k trade reported after Close - small beer but enough to drop the Bid when traded.

Judging by the countless times this stock has gone into auction mode over past 6 months, I think it's far more likely to be a case of one (or more) large holder getting 'out'. Rather than sp being manipulated down for the benefit of a fundraiser. There's a lot of PGD stock in circulation. We know at least one seller (Van Eck) reduced their holding from 70 million to circa 38 million with a strategy change that suggested that remaining 38 million would be sold also. After 15 years there may well be other long-term holders with reasonable stake holding who now have become distressed sellers given the number of years they have held. Change in financial circumstances. It happens. Guess we just have to ride the storm of continual drip-feed selling and hope it stops soon. And the sp recovers.

My 5p hopeful prediction by Xmas largely depends on them announcing significant production figures between now & Xmas. NOT a given with this mob. And that prompting some major investor(s) to come on board and buy stock on the open market as a result of them turning the corner and achieving a target for first time in 15 years. I don't think exercising an Option per se will make a blind bit of difference to the sp. Look at the sp when they first announced the Calcatreu Option deal and compare it to now. It has headed south. Exercising the Option will be expected. Nothing to get excited about on 8 Dec. And not for a while thereafter. Not on Calcatreu at any rate.

For best part of a decade PGD have had the Santa Cruz government as a strategic partner. Not exactly done wonders for the PI in that time.

Of course it's positive....... just not THAT positive. As it's only because of a one off asset disposal that they're in profit. And it's just not THAT positive press for the simple reason that revenues for the period "fell sharply". Hardly positive news!! Like I keep saying, they need to actually deliver for once after countless promises not met over many years. Let's hope they do in the next 6 months. You invested that �90,000 yet Stewy that you claimed you had waiting to spend on PGD stock???

I didn't read it as that positive. Profit reported clearly only because of a one-off asset disposal. "Gross revenues........fell sharply" is probably the reason the market didn't seem to respond that positively to share price in today's session. Largely Buy trades, yet no movement in Bid by MMs.

Nothing eye catching or unexpected or particularly exciting as yet, but enough there to optimistically suggest over next 12-24 months a solid financial foundation can be created. But they still need to demonstrate they can deliver. After 15 years we know they can talk the talk......... need now to show they can walk the walk. Re-rating? Can't see the justification for that at the mo. Unless buyers return en-masse.
