I see in only a matter of a few weeks since your new nick as Solgfinger2 you have posted over 1,000 times on this BB. You need to get out more and get a life m8. Stewy - VE are a MASSIVE corporation. Not a 'he' individual. Many billions of $s invested and interests in a wide range of sectors/businesses. But they do not run or takeover companies to operate. They currently own circa 38 million PGD shares. A spit in the ocean. They have not bought a single PGD share in past 2-3 years since they dumped 30 million shares on the market and PGD share price plummeted as a result. Amongst many other activities, they currently invest in about 70 other small cap miners. PGD is the 3rd worst performing stock in their portfolio. And has been for several years. There is as much chance of them taking over PGD as there is of me winning the Lotto jackpot every week for the rest of 2018. Have a nice weekend. Next week possibly could get exciting for PGD. At long last.

Good to see whilst I was away there has been some buying pressure on this stock. Hence the sp rise. As always, **ck all to do with PoG. The AR is due any day now. This Company has always been a tad 'leaky'. Looks like some might have the head's up on a very positive AR. Maybe there'll be an indication that the net earnings are going to be impressive (impressive by PGD standards). The House Broker predicted in 2008 that they'd be �25m that year. 10 years later and that should be just about achievable. Better late than never!!! Just a pity that a billion shares more are in circulation since 2008 which of course has had a serious impact on the share price. There's not a cat in hell's chance PGD will be taken over imho. Going Private via the CP is more likely. And even that is a long shot. Be at least 3-5 years before PGD would be in anyway attractive enough to justify any Major sniffing round. Let's get real.

you are right. It's a transaction commonly referred to by Brokers as "bed & breakfast". It usually only happens around the tail end of March every year. The sp rise last Friday was pure coincidence to those trades and would have been due to other factors.

Are you sure about that? Appreciate they don't feature per se but there is reference in the letter to s/holders to "Subscription Securities being subscribed by certain existing shareholders directly with the Company". Mind you, in the past they've always made a point of mentioning their own participation/involvement in any fundraising. Not this time. Nobody has been more of a critic of this pair than me. I'd like to think what I was saying 7-8 years ago on BBs (and getting shot down in flames) have proven to be pretty accurate & justified. It would be nice to believe we really are entering the end game here. And if so, this is a very attractive entry point to invest at sub 2p. I just feel sorry for those that got sucked in by all the bullish ramping over a decade ago and have lost their shirt in the process. And can only look forward, at best, to get their shirt back at some future point. But there'll be no pot of gold or profit. Not for them.

they have just given away yet another 20% of the entire company extremely cheaply. This Co launched on AIM over 12 years ago at many multiplies of the 1.5p. Those that subsequently invested based on all the hype from the directors at 18-20p will struggle now to ever see a profit. Essentially only 2 exec directors. One who is part-time. A bean counter who by his own admission knows little of the industry. "can't tell one rock over another". The other is near 80 years of age. 15+ years of digging holes. There's an industry yard stick that says if you don't go from initial exploration find to a producing mine in 7 years then the likelihood of it ever happening is remote. It's ambitious to be suggesting that the next round of drilling will more than double the resource. They have been digging for gold on & off since first announced back in 2008. They may well 'advance' the numbers in next round of drilling. But more than double it in one phase strike??? Really?? In their defence - at least they haven't thrown in the towel, given their poor performance over past 2 decades - here & elsewhere. Although they have managed to pay themselves quite generously under the circumstances whilst with that source of income participate in the many fundraisers that have allowed them to retain their own % holding in the Company. Whilst many longstanding private investors have been shafted and sitting on hefty paper loses. So far anyway.

Cookie - I wouldn't argue with you on that. However you were ramping CRA as a raging bull buy when it relisted at 10p a couple of months back. Since when it has lost almost half of its value at 5.5p today to sell. Even if it goes back to 10p you will still be seriously in the red from your original purchases given the massive 300-1 consolidation (which you said at the time wouldn't impact on the sp LOL). If PGD reaches 5p then I will be showing a 200+% increase or profit on my investment. IF.
