Reasonable to expect some form of initial update on drilling prog within 6-8 weeks. So, should be any day now.

Concerns me a tad local radio saying what they are. Assume their source of info comes from some working at the camp who would have a bit of an idea what's going on.

I understand all that. Market forces. Shorting. Plus some selling here at a loss to try make profit elsewhere. Or just run out of patience to hold.

The point I was trying to make was the sheer scale of the volume & imbalance. Hardly usual recycling.
My figures used were probably very understated. Over past 4-5 months it's several BILLIONS of shares in question (against MMs having circa 170m to play with). Much of which (70 to 80%) traded appear to be published sells. Hence why the sp has nose-dived from 10p to 0.5p (losing 95% its value) in a relatively short period of time - even by AIM standards.

Since the Company was effectively rescued with the RTO and the injection of funds at 3p per share it seems to me there has been WELL in excess of 1 billion shares traded. And given the massive drop in the share price I assume at very least half of those shares ie 500m have been sells. And that's being extremely conservative. Realistically more like 700-800m.

According to this site there should only be 342m shares in circulation (is that accurate?) and by my reckoning 50% of those shares should be in 'safe' hands with Kevin and his fellow directors & associates (ie 170m).

I appreciate there's convertible Notes and Warrants kicking about......... but for me........ the constant drip fed volume of sells over past 6-8 weeks has a nasty smell about it. And doesn't quite add up.

Am happy to be shown where I could be misreading or misunderstanding matters.

When they get it right they come on and gloat about how smart they are.
When they get it wrong - you never hear from them.

They've raised funds (and spent it) during to past 13-15 years to the tune of not far short of $40m.

So to sell the Company for $40m - that would strike me as being a p**s poor rate of return or pay back.

Humphries bought shares once upon a time on the open market at 16.5p. Never, ever going to return to that level given the countless Placements/dilutions.

Prickett couldn't be happier for shareholders currently sitting on circa 90% loss for investments make from when Company listed on AIM.

Mind you, they've trousered £2 million in expenses & fees to supplement their old age pensions getting to this point. So they must be happy bunnies, I guess.

I stand corrected in that they don't actually specifically mention that the $2million loan facility would be used in part to pay wages.
But there again - you wouldn't expect them to.

There was the $2million loan facility for working capital issues completed just 10 days before the Placement.

So I don't understand why you are trying to attribute funds raised via the Placement being misappropriated or the market being misled as to what the Placement funds were being used for.

With the total volume of all the buy & sell trades over past 2-3 weeks there must have been circa 30% of the ownership of the Co exchanged hands.

But is that for the better for the future stability of the Co? Quite probably, but who knows for sure?

Be interesting to see if there's any Holdings RNS issued soonish.

Can't you read the Placement RNS?

Or are you just deliberately wooden spooning it?

How could anyone on a public BB know if the funds raised were used for something other than that officially published by the Co?

Since the RTO this Company doesn't really have a history, let alone a long one.

The jury is out on KvW. If anything, I think that's why investing in this stock is seen by some as high risk. If Kevin brings home the bacon with production levels over next few months then this will multi bag. If not, it'll crash & burn.

Repetitively posts drivel slagging the Company off. Has been doing it for well over a year, so I guess he/she ain't a shorter. Funny enough he/she seems to have a beef about Geology Student and mcfirth because he/she sometimes refers to their posts - made on here - on advfn. Strangely though never seems to post on here.

The PI herd taking the price up by 40% and then the small time traders quickly taking tiny profits to bring it back down by 40%.

Assume it won't go much below 1p now as the herd spouting their ramping drivel would be kacking themselves by selling and taking a loss.

Always amuses me how many posters on the various BBs claim long after the event how successful & profitable they have been with their trades. Selling at highs and buying at lows.

Odd & slightly perverse that when PGD's price was 1.4p to buy you weren't making any comment about your (alleged) pretty significant sell trade. In fact, at that precise time, you continued your usual misleading ramping drivel in response to my post:-
