Elections
Been away a while but poke my head in now and then.
This Election is crucial. In my opinion the Belarus situation will help Georgia.
When situations like this happen they spread within a region.
Belarus have moved away from Russian influence, they voted against it and now protest against the corruption and rigged vote.
Yes he still stands but the foundations below him have been shattered, neighbouring Countries are supporting the people, and the violence that continues to suppress the people will harden the fight to remove him.
The Arab spring is one such event that sought a change in a region, but more locally we look back at Europe in 1989.
In October 1989 Chauchesko ruled Romania with a hardline dictatorship. The eastern block was strong and allied to Russia and the Berlin wall separated Germany.
Before the end of 1989 Romania's dictator had been killed by the people, the eastern block collapsed to freedom and the Berlin wall was historically destroyed.
When people stand up against suppression it spreads as locally people affected by the same suppression rebel and protest against it. Often you will see the Military leaders suddenly realise they need to change sides so that they hold their positions.
So its a domino effect where one nations people follow anothers on a road to freedom.
If you have a wish prior to the elections its that Lenchenco is removed from power in Belarus and new fair Elections are held, this will really energise the Georgian people.
one word of caution is that anyone who stands in the way of the dictator in Russia (Putin) and his ambitions can find their health rapidly being compromised. Russia will do anything to protect its boundaries and communist suppression. Zaza needs to be vigilant as he seems to be a stronger voice in Georgia against Russia than even the Opposition

(Politics) Saakashvili: I'm coming back!
"I know from years ago how to better serve our country, how to avoid mistakes ... and mistakes, of course, were and were very serious mistakes, but God is a martyr, I wanted the best for my people," said the third Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in a video posted on Facebook.
According to Saakashvili, his work as president has not been in vain. He apologizes for the "mistakes" he made and the "failures he made":
"I wanted my people to live better, much more luxuriously, and still looking back at these years for the mistakes I made because I did not make it to the end, I want to publicly apologize to everyone. At the same time, I am infinitely grateful to the Georgian people who made me As a participant in the successful historical process of building the Georgian state, there has not been a single day during these seven years that I have not been interested in Georgian news and I know for sure that my work as President has not been in vain and many of the things we have created are still preserved and working. "When I hear the news of Georgia, I understand exactly and I know that we can live much stronger, much better and every Georgian can be rich and that will bring us together! I will be back!" Saakashvili said.

Fight .......lol.
Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani is responding to a video address by Mikheil Saakashvili , in which Saakashvili talks about returning to Georgia, saying that the former president will face Georgian imprisonment if he returns to the country.
"We heard from the President of the video recording, in which he addresses the people. We, of course, welcome, you will find in Georgia's forces days and the comes to Georgia.
"He is, of course, awaiting arrest at the border and in Georgian custody, as he is wanted and has been sentenced by a number of instances, which he can review later when he is already in Georgian custody," Tsulukiani said.

Part 3:
This agreement greatly benefit Georgia, the US and Europe, as it is to increase the independence from Russia's Digital sheutsobda will. Especially after the large-scale cyber attack on Georgia in October last year , for which Russia was responsible, at first glance, this agreement should have been a priority for Georgia. among them, taking into account a well , the alternative to Iran and Russia.
However, now that the agreement has been reached, the Georgian government is trying to cancel it. The process has gone so far that changes in telecommunications legislation have been adopted as a result of late-night rallies in parliament. With this new legislation, the Communications Commission has been given unprecedented power over the private sector - absolutely unheard of for a modern democracy.
One of the most troubling aspects of these changes is the creation of a "special government manager" who has almost unlimited power over telecommunications companies. They were empowered to appoint and dismiss company directors, as well as a supervisory board. They can also appeal against contracts signed a year before their appointment and request their annulment. They will have the right to restrict the distribution of profits, shares and bonuses to the company, as well as increase pay. This is a chrestomathy example of potential corruption and restrictions on freedom of speech that may soon spread to other industries . If this drop in foreign investment and jointly take into account, we've tried And a verified formula of how the country turns its back on democracy and how it behaves like the new Belarus .
At this moment in Belarus Internet access, President Lukashenko to crush the demonstrations against the government of himself the same authority granted in one fell swoop.
Both foreign direct investment agreements have hurt Russia's interests, and both are in the process of sinking by those who are most likely to support them.
Private investment is the third most important pillar in building prosperity, security and stability, along with defense cooperation and diplomacy. If Georgia wants to become a Western liberal democracy, deepen Western integration, and reap the benefits of enhanced security and an improved quality of life, it must make itself attractive for this investment.
"It is extremely disappointing , especially for young talented Georgians, that the government has decided to move in a different direction," Hodges's article reads.

Part 2 :the article in full:
"Belarus and the examples of the best reminder of how much of a threat to the security vacuum of inventing and Russia to intervene to close the door . The US and the EU must be carefully monitored by the Ministry. The population of the European Union and NATO membership idea popularity notwithstanding, none of the membership of the road in the right direction is not moving.
In recent years, it seems that Georgia has a goal to weaken itself. According to Geostat, the amount of foreign direct investment has decreased by 40% since 2017, and only the government is to blame.
The Georgian government has an incomprehensible mission to expel foreign investors from the country. To illustrate this, we have two main examples. The first deep-water port in the country is in Anaklia. Port, which is 2.5 billion. The dollar cost and boasted that it would be 16 meters deep, could take any ship in the world and enable the country on the world map to become a hub for intercontinental trade between Europe and Asia .
The project would attract investment in logistics and transportation from Western Europe, and countries such as Germany and the Netherlands would be interested in Georgia's stability and security.
The port of Anaklia was also making Romania, on the opposite border of the Black Sea, with a huge unused Constanta seaport on the Danube , a much more serious economic player in the Black Sea region. It would also provide additional incentive to use the Danube’s favorable potential for larger-scale trade and also help improve Romania’s fragile transport network.
However, the Kremlin does not want that. It is not in Russia's interests to pay more attention to the illegal occupation of 20% of Georgia's territories and to revive the Romanian economy. That is why the Kremlin has been actively working to thwart the Anaklia project .
So the Georgian government broke the agreement by refusing to lend to investors and international construction companies, prompting investors to sue for arbitration last month. Until the issue is resolved, it will be difficult to attract other foreign direct investment .
The second case is much more alarming in terms of security, democracy and the rule of law. Last year, an Azerbaijani company building a digital fiber-optic corridor between Europe and Asia bought a 49% stake in the Georgian company Caucasus Online for $ 61 million to insure the pipeline in part of Georgia. The representatives of the company held a number of meetings with the representatives of the Georgian government and the Georgian Communications Commission to inform them.

The Georgian government is moving in the wrong direction on the path to NATO membership - General Hodges
Part 1:
The former head of the US military in Europe, General Ben Hodges , head of the CEPA Department of Strategic Studies, publishes an article about Georgia and Belarus in The Hill.
Hodges has been one of the most vocal supporters of Georgia's NATO membership for years, but in an article published yesterday, the general wrote that the Georgian government was moving in the wrong direction on the path to NATO membership.
According to Hodges, he talks about the recent disappointing actions of the Georgian government and the steps taken backwards.
He reviews in detail the amendments made to the legislation on electronic communications by the Parliament of Georgia in July this year and the current developments in the construction of the port of Anaklia, which, he said, harmed Georgia's security interests.

Bedex the company has always had a broad political agenda since Bill White days. But that used to be to provide economic development to rebuild the former communists countries. And TSBS yes if you look at some of the Frontera originals CIA links are understandable. However, its always been a mystery how commercial the company is - Steve was the exploration front but time has shown a poor understanding of finance - a look at the board meeting packs from the court documents shows how unsophisticated they are with money!
Reg - the company based on the last unaudited accounts (current and long term liabilities exceed assets), frozen bank account, no export of oil (and low oil price even if they could export), the actual default on the loan notes (annual interest alone due in cash equal to 2018 revenue), redundant and unpaid employees, unpaid legal bills in Cayman, council backing out of cases (most likely as not being paid), unpaid deposit for arbitration, unpaid office service bills.... these are strong indications that the company is skint. why have they not lost the license yet as unable to fulfill the contract? Well politics seems to be the answer plus the GG can wait as if it falls into hands of FTI it can be sold on to someone else to settle the debt or just wound up and returned by default to GG avoiding further political fallout and undermining Zaza media campaign.
If there is any type of deal in the wings that has to be approved by GG per the PSA. That is without any doubt. The FRR US transfer was blocked even though intra company because of funding and requirement to prove technical capability to deliver program. So we know what the GG position is.
So my considered position is that GG are waiting due to political considerations and FIT (Outrider) have to move carefully and methodically to appropriate the asset without terminating the PSA or force FRR to pay the loan notes to get it back.
Its the half complete transfer that is the real mess - the transfer has been executed within FRR but the GG do not recognise FRR US as the holder of the license leaving it all in a legal limbo for everyone. There is a way out but for us to come away with anything it has to be with someone who looks favourably on us.
So I'm not surprised Zaza doesn't want to talk about the company and is interested in talking politics in the media.

Whilst a small number of us a long time ago had thoughts that something was never quite what it seems with this Company with comments running from a" CIA front" to the OIl and Gas Industry always had had a great deal to do with geo politics ( I tend towards the latter) as a Company and I have always held the view that Zaza has politicle ambitions personally at some stage in his life. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that Uncle Sam does more than a passing interest in what is going on that is directly to do with us. I accept publicly that the EU has real concerns over reliance on energy supplies but really does not have much of a capability to shall say "Interfere", In any case it is only really the UK and possibly France who have any real experience in this area and whilst the UK still has acess to the North sea where there is still plenty of O&G but needs a lot of further investment and this would be against the EU intentions?policy etc ( The recent years have not been the right time for the UK to stretch its independent muscles until all Brexit matters are resolved and we regain full control of our Foreign policy - and I hope we do develop our own policies again we happen to be rather good at it and certainly energy supply will a part of this but that is for the future) It seems to me that with Uncle Sam learning the positive effects of soft power, I ask my self "Is it in the interest of Uncle Sam for the EU and indeed the whole of Europe to be reliant on an increasingly stronger Russia which is prepaid to us this as bargaining with Europe? I would say it is not as Uncle Sam does not want Europe or the EU to fail on the basis of a gas tap? it would certainly have an negative effect on the USA economy. So it is in the interest of the USA to " help Europe/EU have easy gas that is reliable and stable. That is my Political argument in favour of of why Uncle Sam is so involved with the Oil and gas fields in both Georgia and any other surrounding countries. they need politicly West leaning counties who need a lot of inward investment to help that the ever increasing influence of Mr Putin and It is helpful in USA-EU Europe relations especially as the EU is virtually incapable of doing anything for itself in this area. So this is tick box one and is the main priority.
It would seem to me that it would also be helpful at the lower end of the scale that the USA would prefer if any such investments were under the influence of uncle Sam and may even give some sort of financial return ( even the USA have bean counters) I ask my self given that I have no idea as to why we are still alive could we be that vehicle? If so we have a high chance of survival and perhaps more as long as the O&G is real. Well call it a game of fantasy investment -on that basis it does seem to fit Oh Just add in the possibility of a very friendly politicle person heading up our Company who in my view want to be the top dog at some

Zaza has secured the assets, at least under the existing PSA, and he now has to extract Frontera from the political crap before any new deal can be struck. The election has to be the turning point. GD know this only too well. Their choice is to do a new deal with Frontera and lift a lot of the pressure or continue their anti-American stance thereby risk losing the election as the Georgian people really discover that the GD really has no clothes.

Pt.10 (and final part)
J1 - And in what cases can this happen, in your opinion?
Zaza - This can happen in different ways. There is talk of corruption, dishonest relations with American companies, human rights, elections, and so on. All of these issues are listed, which will not take too much thought for a person who reads it to understand that too many paragraphs from there can reach many current and former members of the government today so as to get on the sanctions list.
J1 - And it may happen that Ivanishvili may win the elections, use all means, but in the end it may turn out that all was in vain.
Zaza - Of course. Unfortunately, everything is developing in such a way that there is a great chance of it. That is what we have been saying before, it must be radically changed, and for the better, for democracy. One of the bills mentions that oligarchic rule must end in the country. Oligarchic rule is not an acceptable form for the civilized world. Oligarchic rule means impoverishing the people, leaving them unemployed and destroying the country. Therefore, neither the civilized world nor the United States can tolerate this, and if the Georgian Dream government does not start to rectify this, we will undoubtedly see our compatriots sanctioned by the United States.
J1 - Thank you for participating in the program. Our time has run out. Zaza Mamulaishvili was our guest.

Pt.9
Zaza - Of course. This is the strategy of Georgian Dream. They are telling us the different truth. At the same time, the last high-ranking official visit was when the Speaker of Parliament and Foreign Minister, Zalkanian, were in Washington at the end of the year if I am not mistaken. The only positive agenda they had, which the Georgian government was talking about, is that Georgian soldiers are fighting in Afghanistan in support of the Americans. Georgia has no other positive context on the American agenda. This is a complete collapse in terms of foreign policy towards the United States, which is reflected in a bad investment climate, which is reflected in less capital inflows into the country, less wealth creation for Georgia, and less income for the Georgian people.
J1 - Finally I want to ask you about sanctions. This topic is like a Damocles sword hanging over Ivanishvili`s head. The example of Moldova is very often recalled when Plakhatnyuk suddenly found himself under sanctions. Now the news of Belarus is unfolding before our eyes. In principle, Lukashenko's sanctions are not surprising, and for him it is a natural disaster. Is the EU now working on sanctions against Lukashenko? Regarding Ivanishvili, how realistic is it for him to find himself under sanctions? Is this constantly talked about in the US Senate, in Congress? Is this real either before the election or after the election? In principle, there is already a sanction for Georgia, when 15% of its aid was frozen on some conditions, right?
Zaza - At present, depending on the legislation passed by the Congress and the Senate, and the relationship between the United States and the Georgian Dream government, there are all preconditions for such sanctions to be applied to a member of the current or former government. It is difficult to say when it will be, in what form and on what scale.
J1 - Is it easy for the ruler of a partner country, even for a shadow ruler, to impose sanctions?
Zaza - Doing so is not easy for a non-partner country as well, but it is an extreme measure.
J1 - It is easier to impose for a non-partner rather than for the ruler of a partner country. This is what I mean. So, America should always separate Ivanishvili and Georgia, which is not easy, right?
Zaza - By the way, this was done with the bill that was initiated at the beginning of the year and there is precisely defined.
Yes, they are separated, but it is still difficult, if Ivanishvili stays in power again and his power is extended, will it be easy to separate? Could personal sanctions be such as to have a cooling effect on Ivanishvili?
Zaza - That's what it's all about. The bill that was initiated, and which is bipartisan today, considers not the imposition of sanctions on Georgia, but personally. It says very clearly - it will be members of the current or former government who will be included in the list of these sanctions.

Pt.8
J1 - I do not like to spread rumours, but I have to say what information I have. For example, the Georgian Dream government thinks that if the Democrats win the presidential election, they will have no chance and Ivanishvili may be more reluctant to go, so they are a little disappointed that our election is a little earlier than their presidential election. And, if Trump wins again and the Republicans, they have some chance of survival. I do not know why they have this misconception. Does it matter if the Democrats win this election or the Republicans for the formation of relations with Georgia? In general, the Democrats were more active in dealing with Georgia in the past. They were more aggressive towards Russia with their sharp statements and positions and their attention was more towards us. What does the US election results mean for Ivanishvili's government? Because for Georgia, both administrations are friends.
Zaza - I think that if anyone in the Georgian Dream has such an opinion, it is a very infantile opinion.
J1 - It’s hard not to agree, though that makes sense there.
Zaza - It does not work that way in Washington, nor will it work in the future. By the way, whatever documents we were talking about today were always considered in a bipartisan context in the committees, and in the end even more Democrats voted in favor of this document during the voting than the Republicans. The context here is one.
J1 - In other words, everything that was prepared against Ivanishvili is, in fact, bipartisan.
Zaza - Of course. Let no one think that it started now, 1 month ago or 6 months ago. The phrase "Ivanishvili is destabilizing the country for the good of Russia" first occurred in 2016 in the Congress building. In 2016, before this announcement, several years of very hard work was done by U.S. politicians before they officially announced all of this.
J1 - So, today is everything official and it`s not the statement of just one congressman as we are here often told about.

Pt.7
J1 - Let’s also talk about how the formation takes place in Washington, which is a really good place for lobbyists and they work successfully too often. It is a common story that political groups, government officials have lobbyists and they work, however, as you said, Ivanishvili's lobbyists are working in vain at this stage. How are attitudes formed towards countries or specific governments? By the way, there was a myth that reigned in the elite of the Georgian Dream that "America does not have time for us" and until recently the US did not react sharply to certain issues in Georgia, even against democracy. Didn't it all happen suddenly? This has been happening in recent years. In short, where did the myth that "America does not have time for us" come from? How is opinion formed and then what is the system of actions?
Zaza - This story was created and inspired by the Georgian Dream. America has always had time for, it has time for us now and will definitely have in the future as well. Georgia will always be a priority and Georgia will always be very high on that list.
Although the government of the Georgian Dream has managed and achieved so much that there was an amendment for the first time in the history of relations between the two countries, according to which we, a country that has always been very high on the list of priorities, are now with Colombia, Pakistan and similar countries.
J1 -Can we lose the superior quality of a strategic partner with America that we have had so far and for which we have worked for years?
Zaza - Unfortunately, we have already lost. But the United States is well aware that Georgia has not lost, it has lost the government of the Georgian Dream. Our government has made us lose our positions, but they will regain that position, of course, if they take appropriate steps in different directions - be it elections, investments, human rights, the judiciary, which the whole world knows the Ivanishvili government uses as a weapon. If the Georgian Dream changes all this, of course this relationship will improve.

Pt.6
Zaza - The only way out now is for the Georgian Dream government. I will say why it is important to correct this situation first. Correction is important because in today's ruined economy, when companies go bankrupt every day, people lose their jobs every day, people have no income and we all know what the population is like today. The only way out of this is to bring capital into the country, money has to come in, investment has to come in. When the US addresses the Georgian government with such communication and the Georgian Dream government does nothing to remedy the situation, trust me, no investment will flow, no capital will flow, no new businesses will open and people will have no income. Georgia does not have the means to finance this activity with its own money. Therefore, we need good relations with the US like air to bring as much good as possible to the country. This will not happen now if you have such a relationship with the US Legislature, Executive ...
J1 - Is there a chance to fix this? What should Ivanishvili do? How can he get rid of the reputation of the Russian oligarch, which destabilizes Georgia?
Zaza - There is a chance of that, but every 1000 km distance starts from the first step. Therefore, the first step should be that the elections should be held in a democratic and free environment, so that the informed voter, not bought with onions and potatoes and other funds, can make the right choice for his future. Therefore, the government must ensure the creation of such a free environment.
J1 - Suppose the elections were held perfectly by the Georgian Dream. Absolutely none of the rules were broken and he won. Could a congressman who thinks Ivanishvili is a Russian oligarch and a friend of America's enemies continue to have a normal relationship with him? Is such a thing happening?
Zaza - The first step will be to hold elections democratically, which does not suit Russia well, in a model of destabilizing the country. Because this is not a Russian model. If you take this first positive step, the second positive step should be to create a good environment for American investment, it will lead to the creation of many jobs, many people will be employed ...
J1 - Does this government have the resources to do that? Tell us your opinion directly.
Zaza - I honestly doubt it. They have neither the resources nor the desire to do what is important. Even if you hire 25 expensive lobbyists in the US, if you do not have the truth, this truth can not be delivered anywhere. The Georgian Dream government has no truth today. This is the biggest problem and I think it will be very difficult to do it in 2 months.

Pt.5
..,both in Washington and the rest of the world.
J1 - This situation has gone quite deep. For example, in the 2021 Foreign Operations Financing Bill 15% aid has been frozen to Georgia. There is no such precedent for Georgia to temporarily freeze some of the aid. I would like to reiterate that within 180 days, this Defense Act was adopted on August 5, the Secretary of State must submit a report to the congressional committees. Let’s list what should be in this report? Is the Georgian government taking effective steps to strengthen democratic institutions in Georgia? Is the Georgian government implementing electoral reform effectively? Does it respect the independence of the judiciary, including independence from legislative and executive interference? Does it effectively implement the necessary policies to ensure transparency and accountability, including in terms of unhindered access to public information? Does it protect the rights of civil society, opposition parties and the media, as well as any other issues that the Secretary of State deems appropriate? Do we know what this means in the language of international relations and diplomacy? When you have such a case and when you know that in 180 days Pompeo has to submit this report to the congressmen and in the upcoming elections there might be some cases of fraud, like it was on the previous elections. In the previous elections, we had videos on one of the channels where the ballot papers were thrown directly into the ballot box, but somehow all this went well. The presidential election was not such a strategic election. Everyone knew that this would not change the government. Today, when Ivanishvili's government should remain in power for a third term or should be changed, it is the task of all those who support democracy in Georgia to change the government in Georgia after the second term. Will the Georgian government, which is under such surveillance, be able to hold these elections peacefully under these conditions?
Zaza - He will be able to do that if it is his will. Will be able to if he wishes. First of all, all this means, by the way, this bill was passed by 295 votes in the House of Representatives, which is unprecedented and a very large part of the politicians who voted are Democrats. So it wasn’t just Republicans. It`s bipartisan decision with huge support.
J1 - The letters which were sent to Georgia are bipartisan as well.
Posted Looed on the 26th August :-
Pt.4
J1 - Insulting? What do you mean that they are illegally criticizing the Georgian government?
Zaza - Basically, they have chosen the topic that if any congressman or senator is critical towards the Georgian Dream government, in the opinion of Georgian Dream they are either misinformed or lobbyists of “Frontera”.
J1 - And, so it turns out that you are the most powerful person in the world because the whole congress, senate and white house is working for you. (laughing). I am happy that you are our guest. If I need the letter, will you help me to get it from Congress? This was joke of course. Let`s continue our discussion. What are these lobbyist groups trying to achive? To convince Washington that there are no threats to democracy here, no political prisoners, and in what direction are they working according to your information?
Zaza - The Georgian government has chosen an anti-American and anti-Western direction. This political vector is inclined towards Russia, so in order to justify, on the one hand, they are engaged in anti-American and anti-Western actions, but they try to pretend as if this is not the case. To justify this, they need someone to embellish the picture, and that is why they have hired American lobbyists to send messages to the US government and lawmakers, to the executive branch, to reassure American politicians that Georgia is in favor of strategic cooperation with them and has nothing to do with Russia. In fact it is completely different and as time goes by ...
J1 - What is the reality?
Zaza - The reality is that…
J1 - Ivanishvili and perhaps no one in the government does not want to sever ties with the United States, at least because America is helping Georgia financially among them and I think it is be very important for the country with our economy. It seems that the Georgian government does not want to cut ties with the United States. At least, because he can not oppose the choice of the Georgian people so openly.
Zaza - That's what it's all about. Any poll ...
J1 - Do they know this in America?
Zaza - They know it in America and Georgia as well. That’s why they can’t do it so directly. They do it secretly. You need this America because there is so much help coming from there. And, the aid received from the United States to date exceeds 5 billion. Therefore, they need it. On the other hand, how do you imagine this is a strategic relationship when American NGOs are publicly cursed and fought. When American politicians publish insulting articles in the Georgian or foreign press. It is a very bad investment environment for American companies and they are being persecuted and harassed from the country. And all letters received from the United States were left unanswered. With only 1-2 exceptions, to which they answered with another lie. So it does not fit into a strategic relationship. Everyone sees this well, both in Washington and in the rest of the wo

Pt.3
J1 - Anyway, since December, there has been one-way communication with letters sent by congressmen to Gakharia.
Zaza - Very actively. Quite actively and in the history of modern Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia will be the second Prime Minister who did not go to the United States to deepen relations. Against this background, we have witnessed numerous letters sent to the Georgian Dream government from the Congress, the House of Representatives, the Senate. As you mentioned, for the first time in the history of Georgia, even Pompeo was sent a very critical letter by congressmen and senators in relation to Georgia, stating that Ivanishvili's government is cooperating with rivals and enemies of the United States and doing so at the expense of US political and commercial interests. Such a thing has never happened before and it is very disturbing.
J1 - These words and phrases sound like a judgment. Is it possible for the US to continue its relations with the Georgian leader? Ivanishvili is the informal leader of Georgia today. Georgia is very precious to America. He is our friend and we always stand by him, but because Ivanishvili is the de facto ruler of Georgia, can he continue to have a relationship with him after these phrases, which is really like a sentence? Ivanishvili is cooperating with America's enemies.
Zaza - After these phrases and letters, a very interesting thing happened. The Georgian government has intensified its lobbying activities. New lobbyists were added to his lobbyists. It is worth noting here that only Georgia and Saudi Arabia pay the highest price to lobbyists in Washington.
J1 - What price do they pay for it? It`s public information, as I know. Could you please give as the data?
Zaza - This is public information. $ 75,000 is a monthly fee, plus additional costs. These are the expenses of only 1 company.
J1 - How many companies does the Georgian government have today, Ivanishvili personally, hired in Washington?
Zaza - They use up to 5 companies. They work in different directions. Kay Street is in Washington, where all these lobbying companies are located and they talk about Georgia with a smile because you have to be very bad at something, in order to hire so many lobbyists and pay so much money. That does not happen in practice, no one else does that.
J1 - Roughly speaking, they spend about $ 300,000 a month on these lobbyists.
Zaza - Roughly speaking there will definitely be so much money. Plus, it's very important, for example, that several political leaders of the Georgian Dream government had previously published insulting articles in the Hills newspaper towards congressmen and various people, and in such a short period of time that it cost more than $ 100,000 to publish just one commissioned article.

Pt.2
Zaza - The difference is that of course there was always criticism, there was always an active relationship. There has been an attempt to rectify the situation with this criticism and then respond to different authorities for a strategic partner, but one thing is different now. One is that the support of the United States has never been as strong towards Georgia as it is now ...
J1 - Sorry. This is exactly what the government and its supporters point out, that "the support of Georgia from the United States is great and why do you exaggerate the fact that the critical mark there is high." How do we separate all this?
Zaza - The United States has been, is and will continue to be a great supporter of Georgia and the Georgian people, and this strategic relationship, although sometimes very high and as it is now, is quite low, but the United States' attitude towards Georgia and the Georgian people will not change. But what is at a record low today and at an undesirable level is the attitude towards the current government of Georgia. This is the government of the Georgian Dream, which has buried relations with the United States in the field of foreign relations. Numerous examples of this can be cited in the last 7-8 years of what has happened.
J1 - Let us give examples.
Zaza - Here, for example, will tell you one interesting fact. Prime Minister Ivanishvili and Prime Minister Gakharia have never been to the United States in their capacity as Prime Minister. Such a thing ...
J1 - Ivanishvili has been prime minister for a very short time. Once he was in Davos I think.
Zaza - Yes, Ivanishvili was in Europe, but if we are talking about a strategic partnership and the biggest donor country that has always helped Georgia, the Prime Minister is obliged to deepen relations, see more opportunities in this country and gain more support for the country, which neither Prime Minister Ivanishvili nor Prime Minister Gakharia did.
J1 - Was there a desire on the part of your partner? Were steps taken to invite him on a visit and Prime Minister Gakharia did not arrive?
Zaza - Of course it was. In Gakharia's case, this was done with less enthusiasm since he was in the United States during his previous tenure, but this visit was not a great success and he still cannot boast of highly effective communication with the United States government.

Pt.1
J1 - International context before the election. The government of Georgia has practically got a stopwatch from the West. Bidzina Ivanishvili is already called the Russian oligarch who is trying to destabilize Georgia. He is accused of undermining democracy. There are certain conditions. What is it like to go to the polls for the government when there is too much observation, attention and criticism from the West. We will talk about it with our first guest, this is the president of "Frontera Resources" Zaza Mamulaishvili. Thank you very much, Mr. Zaza, for participating in the show. Let's talk about the reality where we are and where the Georgian government is. The topic of "Frontera" is one of the main and important ones, due to which the Georgian government has received a lot of reprimands in the last 9 months. "Frontera" has always been an example in the letters sent from the United States that the Georgian government treats American business at least harshly and not only American business. Let’s talk about the last story. Finally, as it was in the summer, it was a congressional appeal to Pompeo saying that progress in the Georgian government has been reversed since the arrival of the Russian oligarch. It was the Defense Authorization Act, which already states that the Secretary of State must submit a report to Congress on the situation in Georgia in terms of human rights and other components of democracy, and only then can any kind of decision be made. What does all this mean before the elections? And, it is probably related to the elections, right? What does such a strong attention from the American side mean for the government 2 months before the elections?
Zaza - Thank you very much. I will be happy to share my opinion on this. Unfortunately, this is the context we have today. There are only a few months left before the elections and the country have not had such a bad relationship with the United States, Georgia's strategic partner, since gaining the freedom from which started the Georgian-American relationship.
J1 - What is meant by a bad relationship? We are not talking about Georgia here, we are probably talking more about the government, right? What does a bad relationship mean? Criticism of democracy has been around at various times. Shevardnadze's time was also criticised for corruption, human rights, and harsh statements towards Saakashvili, sometimes on November 7, about various cases. Now, what is different today under Ivanishvili's government?

Mole: you've painted a bleak picture, yet probably pretty realistic.
I also don't believe most of what Zaza says these days given what he says now about delisting and the arbitration result. So I suspect that the two major deal and the frozen bank accounts are porkies too.
However, this unethical, win at all costs attitude does have positive aspects to it. He is certainly not a quitter, comes across well in public, has some US Government support and seems determined to succeed. As I have said before, as a shareholder he is aligned with us and whilst, in all likelihood, one of the massive hurdles you have eloquently described will floor us, it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that he could pull it off imo.

Trying to apply logic to this is illogical.
FRR if thy are insolvent (without backing/deal) all GG have to do is call default on the LoT. FRR would have to prove funds and ability to operate the field. GG have not mentioned, covered or actioned on any of their rebuttals towards FRR - why?
What is stopping this “logical” action – I suspect something lodged in the Arb document
Outrider/Liquidators and CC are or seem to be on the back burner or not as active as you would think they would be
It is on hell of hole FRR are in (as are all SH) – high debt, no production and reluctant Government to western investments.
However, a dim light is still on despite all this negativity.
Why are US backing this looser - probably because of Gregoria’s swing to wards Putin.
But! if there is gas that could be extracted to counter Russian supply grip to the West (Turkey has found Gas under the black sea – cost billions to extract) this will be a political game changer in the region.
Outcome is not looking good but as SH’s SN and ZaZa will get no more than us (just a bigger share of nothing due to their holding size) so why are they still fighting this – not logical just illogical
Back to my bunker – just GLA to those still seeking information in the dim light.
Just a that No one know the final outcome – GG/FRR/US/SH’s (certainly no one on this BB).
