The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Again, thanks Mogger. Some heartening reading this Sunday morning. One day our patience will be rewarded.
MM. Many thanks for the research and joining the dots. Looking very good for us.
Our neighbours in the Kakahari, Cobre CBR in Oz suspended their shares today pending a drilling announcement. Looking good for Colin with AFP and GLR.
See they have requested a trading halt over Botswana Kalahari drilling results.
They could sell some more postage stamps .........
Great news. Over 50% of our market cap in cash !!, the Sandfire deals and great future projects. Love it.
I thought the cash position was better than expected. With another £5.2 million on the way - hopefully, only getting better. A rare bright light in a lousy market.
Should have added "concrete". On my mobile.
Bring back Shakeys, fancy an Anchor beer celebrate.
Using Google translate there are no grounds to appeal.
Plus many thanks to all those posters who have provided info. A painful journey but enjoying a cold beer tonight in celebration.
One day l will be back in profit !!
A good read and for many of us why we remain optimistic. Time is on our side and patience required but the ESG revolution won't be going away. Hopefully some good assay results will get everyone back into a positive mood.
Lucky , l said that after JLPs Tjate. Then bought XTR, GLR and AFP. Guess just have to take Colin's enthusiasm with a sceptic eye. And accept we are looking at May 2023 or longer.
Seems the most sensible way. The 2 well scenario smacks of desperation.
Slightly underwhelming to me. Was hoping for more conviction with a farm out. Guess patience is a virtue when investing in the FI.
Might explain why CB has avoided discussing this project in his podcasts. Also the project manager they took on in January was involved with exploration in this area with Discovery from memory.
Howezap, l hope the plot doesn't thicken much more, bet CB is smiling in his rockin chair.
Unfortunately the share price is going the wrong direction. Placing ?
Thanks. I feel it is good. The sudden drop in shareprice took me by surprise to be honest. But as a JLP shareholder who bought JLP eons ago for Tjate, l have learnt to be more sceptical !!.
Wonder what Newcrest geologists are thinking of our exploration so far. An exciting start or just a lot of low grade copper and a lump of gold. An open question to the forum.
Colombo, where does it say we will attempt big mining projects?. CB has stated brownfield small, approx 20mt projects. I wouldn't touch an AIM company planning on a big mining project because they invariably go t*ts up.
I agree longer term prices will go up. Hence why l am here. But l was hit hard in 2008, so learnt not to underestimate markets. Colin says the same in his interviews and we are cash rich so happy to hold and be patient. But a steep fall in copper prices is possible.
