Someone on the Cobre Resource's Hot Copper bulletin board recently posted about how long it is taking to get assay results back (CBR is our neighbour in the Kalahari). Early news would be nice but patience is probably required in this post pandemic world.

Just had a look at my other CB copper plays. Looking grim all round with the share prices dropping. Never expected oil prices to be at these levels either. Hope 2023 proves better than 2022 for the AIM stocks.

Everyone seems to be more focused on the Harry - Meghan story than whats happening on the market !.
But at least all continues to go well in the background and pleased that Colin keeps us updated. When volume eventually picks up I expect a significant rerate.

I can only dream but hope FQ has hit the motherload. I need the cash and Colin needs a bit of good fortune after the XTR sharedive.

You are forgetting Manica !. Personally I think the value of RC had been discounted months ago. I had always hoped Ascot would save the day but maybe not.

Agreed. But Colin was extremely confident in the 2 m/t projection. The sentiment was that the project would be sold to AA and there would be a payout in 2023. I added many on this basis and lost money (at current share price). It is hard not to be frustrated under such circumstances.
But XTR have good assets and will recover. However l have no intention of selling GLR to buy any more XTR because there so many options here. And thanks Analytical for your number crunching yesterday. Always appreciated.

Sieble. In the latter part of the interview Colin talks about buying producing assets and they discuss moving to mining BR with a partner. After 27 minutes Colin agrees with the summary statement about producing themselves with a partner.
Both selling BR and mining themselves options are on the table according to the podcast.

Andrew. Impressive forensic skills. Just had a quick listen to the podcast. Didn't sound as bad as the shareprice reaction. But then left with the question - so where are we now ?. Are we going to mine BR ourselves with a partner ?.
Think l better go back to sleep until the next RNS or my blood pressure will also be exploding.

Going by his other companies, l would expect XTR shares to be issued. But that dilutes the eventual value of BR. Also being invested in his other Zambian offsprings, not sure why l want more !.

The FB income should provide some support to the shareprice. The problem is how will it be spent. A nice dividend would be good. Then sell BR when the copper price goes up, say 2024. But it won't happen.

Hope so. Need it to recover my XTR losses.

Once Colin started talking about new projects it was always a red flag. But he does know Zambia well so that might be the best bet now. To me the cutoff is low and he previously mentioned the majors not being interested. A higher copper price would be useful now.

Just to add to my previous comment. In the end it will be the drill piece that decides regardless. At XTR it partially disappointed. I would love it to come up trumps in Zim, just won't bet the house on it.

3 card. Like you I was disappointed by the XTR RNS. To be honest l was half expecting it. But saying anything quickly got shot down in recent months on the bb.
But in the case of GLR and AFP it is slightly different. AA gave up with Bushranger. Here we have Sandfire actively exploring, an agreement in place, and Cobre Resources showing good progress next door.
And with that, plenty of cash subject to Afimat, the Zambian assets, which were abandoned due to political and economic reasons, there is plenty to like.
Agreed, the Zim assets l still treat with the Birdy sceptism l feel it deserves.

There is a good article on the CNBC website. It's about how Europe will struggle for energy if they cannot access Russian gas next summer. Totally undermines the green agenda. When the Italians are cold and the Germans stop funding their budget deficits they will have to change.

I doubt the Italian Government expect to be around in 2 years time, so why not appeal and let someone else take the flak. Disappointed, but Sealion is the main game in town.

If FQ started the deep drill end of September, anyone any ideas how long it will take. Also will it be targeting the cobalt Colin spoke about in the February SR podcast ?. Maybe news seeping out.
