I doubt we will get much of a sell on news brigade because we all know we never got the buy on rumour brigade in the 1st place
I keep reading the last update and the drop makes no sense. For that reason I am not going to invest more as I cannot see any reason for current drop so I have no clue as to how far it will drop and whether something is going on that I am not aware of. Ifthere has been no material change in outlook then this will surely bounce though sadly maybe only to bring me back level
Agree Nice to see blue for a change lets hope we can manage to stay blue by the end of the day

Sorry my mistake I bought at £2.84 thankfully not £3.50
Even though I know shares are driven by sentiment and there can be no rhyme or reason for shares rising and falling at times I am still at at loss with Volex. The share was trading at £4.50 - £4.77 in Nov 2021 there is a continuous drift downwards and I thought I was getting in at a good price at £3.50 we get a trading update which states results ahead of expectations and yet we continue to fall. I will just hold and see how it pans out but will always remain at a loss as to why.
Just Listened, I am very happy to remain, the next 12 months could be transformational
I don't even mind the current spread as it gets rid of any potential day traders
The rise from 1.5p at the beginning of the month "hopefully" gives increased confidence that the news we are expecting "very soon" will be good news and support a further rise and consolidation in the share price. As with others I wake up each morning hoping for that little red dot . :)
Strong revenue growth
Revenues to 28th March of £13.6 million,
68% ahead of full Q1-2021 result.
Paid 1.92p - spread was kinder
yes I was quoted 1.99p but I will still try for better
Was going to dip my toe in but will wait as the spread is not nice currently
Excellent final year results - well done board
Do people think we will see an rns in the next two hours ie after close or Is it any time up to Midnight in Canada
Thank you Pip I bought in at 8p attracted by the fact that the placing price was 12p. The honest truth was my aim was to get back out at the placing price if I could. I have only invested £1k so I will let it ride and see how it plays out - thanks.
These results have been more or less reported from late last year:
6th Dec 21 RNS
(AIM:EQLS), the fintech payments group focused on the SME marketplace, is pleased to announce that is has significantly exceeded full-year expectations for both revenues and Adjusted EBITDA and is accordingly providing the market with a trading update for the period from 1 January 2021 to 6 December 2021 (the 'year to date') and 1 October 2021 to 6 December 2021 (the 'Period').
Group revenue for the year to date was £40.4 million compared to £26.8 million for the same period in 2020 - an increase of 51%.
The share price was 62p at the time so you would be looking at a 20% share price rise in 3 months. Stay with this share and join the next ride up.
Ras I think we have to take the view that the share price over the last 12 months has been as low as 32p and most shares trade on expectation. The shares have risen to 78p on the expectation of very good results and that is what was delivered. It would appear no more than that hence the flat response. That said if the next 12 months are able to deliver similar results then the share price most likely will respond with another 25% hike. So your 15k will still see significant gains. Better than the banks I say. Patience is key. I will be here for the 12 months and then review my investment and percentage gain
So after reporting a bumper year last year revenue already showing a 28% increase again within the first 3 months of this year. Congrats to the board for all their efforts and I am sure us shareholders will be further rewarded over the coming 12 months
Can I ask a novice question - if the company is taken private following obtaining the rest of the shares required to obtain % needed and lets say the price moves to 10p whilst getting the extra shares - does that force shareholders into selling their shares, at 10p even if they bought at the placing price or open offer of 12p.
