May even end the day blue
I wouldn't worry Phil - There will always be traders who sell on news- you are correct the interims read well - even if you look at 5 year progress - if you invested in the growth story , you will be fine, forget aim short term movements. The share price is 46% up in 6 months or 22% over 5 years. You will be rewarded just hold or buy on the dips
I personally see the share buy back as a positive and overall the rns would appear to bode well for the company so it got my approval and I have jumped in at 60.9
Richy the market must have agreed with you Andrada ticked up at close :)
Forgot Serabi report in $ so it will be around $357k increase in the quarter based on previous calcs
Looking at quarter 1 2024, took a mean gold price increase of say £225 multiplied by 5000 which is annual expected increase gold mined divided by 4 to give quarter increase in revenue of £281k or £1,125,000 additional over the year though that requires the gold to remain at it current price and for current grades mined to be maintained. Obviously very rough estimates but I will be interested to see how close I got when they publish quarter 1 results
Hoping not as I too bought in today - previously in at 38p so kicking myself for coming out previously but with Gold price continuing to rise - hoping revenues beat forecasts
My mistake apologies re AIM I had this share in the past.
Adam - now that you have pointed out all reasons why one should invest in UPLAND - a balanced view would also point out possible risks as these exist with every share on the market.
Such as :-
No Definite Joint venture partner a of yet : at what cost will we have a joint venture partner?
Prospective Drills does not = commercial find
In the world of AIM - news and expected news can take longer than expected
Just thought I would add balance - though for all that I personally have this on my watchlist for a possible punt.
Trying to understand the cash burn rate as even in the last 12 months we've seen significant dilution. On the plus side the company already has a good working relationship with Bolivian Govt but I feel it needs a joint venture partner with deep pockets to succeed - $500,000 I fear will not be enough to get through to revenue stage
Have this on my watchlist - asking the question as stated in the Sept 23 update - am I correct in thinking that Funding continues to be required and the board will need to address this sooner rather than later. the module pilot plants and upscaling that they talk about will need up front money. Can't see that they have sorted this out as of yet ??
Yes good find Gotreal with our average daily volume that would have to take a minimum 3 months to clear that sort of overhang and that’s with no one else selling. Was checking to see if it would have triggered a TR1 but not sure if it does or whether JLP or Jupiter need to declare same
I am also taking a glass half full approach Mikie, been around a few years and though Roan would have been the catalyst but then we had Power outages which did not just effect JLP and whilst this had an impact Leon addressed the issue so as to protect the company in the future. As the copper part of the business grows and this is evidenced in the last interims ( for those new to the share) revenue should begin to feed the bottom line. Leon used past revenues to build infrastructure ( Roan just one example). I actually think JLP could be bought out as it's worth becomes clearer to other Mid tier miners and that is a threat at the current price levels. We need the SP to move North to reduce the risk of same
Early bird - Looking at past fundamentals even when tin was $39k it did not have the impact on the bottom line ie profits that you are suggesting. Costs to get it out of the ground v current spot price means the profit margin is thin. I accept the ramp up will help but think I am missing out on something with regards to reported profits you are suggesting ????
Placing at 56p now you don’t see that often - happy days
Looks like I timed my buy right - let's hope it keeps slowly moving North and then we get a little spring in our step when the appeal is quashed :)
Even with increased profits it will take 25 years to clear debt at this rate - that is a long term investment
Interesting that they are recommending the offer without the need to ask for an updated trading performance and future guidance. Not sure they have really done their due diligence for their clients
Yes I didn’t word my response correctly- I meant 3.75% of shares had also been sold as well as those bought over the last 2 days otherwise I would have expected the share price to rise . Anyway it makes not a jot to me as I want to see if we the small pi’s do have a voice and can stop this going through with our near 5%
How can 3.75% of shares be bought in the last 3 days with little to no impact on Share price ??. Obvious answer is 3.75% has been sold But I thought we would have a tr1 re same
