So any shorts outstanding, even Monday morning, if there is an RNS they may be rushing to close. Then just hope the price doesn't drop a lot over the next 10 days or so of drilling.

It could well get to 30p, but it will be at least 8-10 days imo from the moment the drill starts.

I can wait for that ;)

They are funded well into next year, presuming they don't do any acquisitions. But they have said very clearly they will acquire businesses.

The market is showing its doubts about their ability to deliver, which is quite unfounded. But I don't believe it's a funding concern at all.

ALGW don't purchase any policies. That is a drip feed cash outgoing for many years with a settlement only at the end.

ALGW are the middle men bringing together buyers and sellers with their experience.

The oil has been there millions of years, I think we can wait a few more days...

You would hope if there is anything that could stop the drill restarting it would be rns already. Nothing hugely unusual here, I've see oil shares dip right before target depth, during drill, before spud. So it's better to get this dip done now.

It is an extremely stable market for anyone to invest into with very large sums of money. I won't be selling anything until at least mid next year so I can see the impact and growth of this fund.

It's hard to work out from their website, but it could be around 20% free float. Of which there are some very sticky holders who have put in a lot of money/

I've been trying to find the reasonable estimates of annual revenue for ALGW off those sorts of deals.

Would 10% be ridiculous? I.e. if we got $500m of settlements that we get $50m of actual revenue off this?

I have seen people say 10-15p off £25m deals, but I have no idea of the actual face value of these settlements to estimate that.

Look up samsung life assurance on Wikipedia. They were one of the hundred companies ALGW were presenting to at the conference. Note that they were the *only* company presenting from this sector from what I've read.
