Two things of note. Firstly the article says they've been approached only. No deal as yet. Secondly such a transaction would likely take a few weeks to process?

Wide spread for a liquid share is just order filling. Which way is up for debate.... But given loafs of people saying it was NT to buy suggests on the buy side

Given that this is a very "safe" bet in these markets (being based essentially on a cash rich business - gdg), I'm surprised not more people are buying here now, especially as news is expected any day

But that's the key issue. The virus hopefully well under control by the summer, but in the meantime considering the conditions out there and their last trading statement this company is definitely at risk.

Because highly suspect allocation of funds and liquidity issues have been going on. They need to protect shareholders and provide a proper explanation of exactly what the plan is!

Dbay are the largest shareholder, who also sorted out the 70m funding. I'd say unless its a rights issue it's very unlikely in the short term

I'd say if it really hits the fan, companies who don't stock supermarkets will see a significant drop off in delivery demand. But even if people still self isolate, the shelves need to be stocked to fill baskets for home delivery.

Given that a huge % of the company has been sold down, can it really be the case that its thousands of average pi buying it all up? Hence no TR1s?

Seriously, are invesco selling in the middle of the worst mini crash in many years, with the price already on it's knees? Whoever is managing that needs firing.

This is actually trading within a very tight channel heading down, which does still strongly imply a very large seller for the last week.

I seriously doubt a logistics company would pass on any cost savings at all if the oil price drops. ESL would've hedged their oil price anyway, as they'd do a futures contract, lets hope they've done it right.

Eddie stobart plc own the trading group, but dbay have a 51% controlling interest. Eddie stobart holdings (or whatever they are called) are a significant shareholder in name only, at 10% ish

Basically this dropped to 4.5p on a completely insane sell off. Yes there was the accounting anomaly. And yes they did make a loss. But really i dont think this should've dropped below 15 the first time round.

The sellers choosing to take the massive tax hit from 70p plus, who could've guessed that.
