I was expecting a minimum of 3 months for a takeover from the announcement. I'm not sure why anyone thinks it's no longer an option. It's a £100m+ deal with a lot to work out. The price drops because AIMers have no patience and some have moved on... but not that many. The volume is still low. I still think that 15-20p is the likely price.
It is more good news. That's a considerable increase in revenue for this year (the all important one if the takeover occurs) and should push us further into profit. But I do agree, .VIP is definitely the saviour of this share.
Neustar are a potential candidate to take over TLDH - particularly as we use their infrastructure already!
Scheduled to start in early June and to have all resolved in 10 months. As the following article states, it should encourage companies to get moving with the private auctions - where there are no real losers. So we can now be very sure that all contentions will be resolved within a year and hopefully this will push to get them done much sooner. Good news. http://www.thedomains.com/2014/03/19/icann-plans-1st-contention-resolution-auction-for-june-4th/
Nothing - both PLE and TLDH. Berlin isn't one of TLDH's but it is giving an indication of the sales levels we might see for our geographic domains, e.g. .london .bayern .nrw .miami .budapest Remember the .Berlin's are not publicly available yet. This is just the trademark holders who are buying domains. In general, though, each gTLD will have different revenues depending on whether they have a partner and who the registrar is. I'm working off the conservative assumption that we will get at least an average of 10 euros per domain.
We don't appear to be selling live domains yet. Also, don't forget that our website is basically brand new. There shouldn't be any expectation that they generate sales anything like go daddy or 1and1. I think we will see marketing for the site alongside the .london launch. I think this period now is about testing the functionality and making sure everything is working before the big launch.
7,000 registrations so far according to: http://ntldstats.com/ This is only live domains by the way (Not pre-registrations), but it will be a great way of tracking how may domains have sold.
Oops they're not revealed yet. The .com prices are showed. I would like to see them building up some Sep friendly content - they should have a list of all available gtlds and then some content about each one. It's a lot of work, but worth it. I certainly think they need to give customers ideas by listing the gtlds in categories. At the moment it's a bit too open for anyone that isn't clued up about it.
I've not managed to read everything so far, but it's interesting to see the .London prices. We knew they wouldn't be cheap, but if the take-up is good it will be worth a fortune! dresses.london only 7.5k euros! It's also interesting to see that some domains are temporarily blocked, this would indicate that the domains that were taken in the .horse, etc actually were taken and not just blocked. So sales must be pretty good at least!
I think we've seen a rise just before the news and this one is good news, but not a game changer. It will be a good earner, but there's still another 40 to get resolved. 2H of last year results to come in early March. Only 6 weeks of trading on just 3 gtlds but it will be interesting all the same.
I get mine from www.londonstockexchange.co.uk. They are always immediate, it's free and you can choose which types of RNS you want to receive.
Results expected early March. Although that will only include 6 weeks worth of trading on just 3 gtlds. It will be interesting all the same. Hopefully auction results to come over the next couple of days.
Are tomorrow. Hopefully we will be involved in more than a few. We probably won't hear the outcome until the day after - unless the likes of domain incite get there first.
Good news to have a date. It will be interesting to see the pricing for the domains.
I think this is a share that has a way to go still when we see more successful outcomes to the contested gTLDs, but it will open up a lot more when they start to show the money. There are a lot of investors who don't fully understand the business, or who are interested but want to see how it unfolds. Additionally, there will be takeovers potentials, but I feel they might need to wait until the bulk of the contracts are signed before making their move. I know people want immediate results (and I think we will see some), but the big changes to the share (in my opinion) will come after the 1/2 year results. Buy and Hold is my recommendation. If you're feeling brave, buy and then trade a portion of your shares on highs and lows. Either way, I think we'll all be handsomely rewarded by the end of 2014.
Good news. .rugby is one of those that could do very well indeed because of the worldwide appeal and the number of individuals, teams and competitions involved in the sport. It's rather bizarre that .basketball did not achieve the same result.
http://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/52468/top-level-domain-holdings-tops-up-war-chest-ahead-of-auctions-52468.html Not sure if it's already been posted.
I do agree with this. There will be a fairly large portion of investors who just don't get it. What they will get, though, is facts and figures in the results. We might get our first set of results in March and the bigger set in September - where there will be more active revenue from more gtlds. This is the point where I think we'll get a major boost to the share price. In between now and then there is still a lot of room to grow.
They own horse, cooking and casa are theirs. They take a small cut for sales for CEO and best. None of them are live yet.
We've all been waiting for these auctions and today's news tells us that they are serious about winning a number of them. The timing does hint that we will see the outcome of more than a handful of of gtld auctions. To get around 40 would be fantastic. If feb 18th is the date it's going to be a big one for tldh!
