Yes Ragsrob, they're held by subsidiaries. It's a easy scenario to sell their stakes in their subsidiaries and then move onto other assets imho. They could just acquire further licenses in new subsidiaries.

From that latest interview with the Nomad saxon, there is definitely a very large price tag attached. For a nomad with the miners experience it has, it must be a bit of an eye opener for it to get mentioned in interview like that. Remember, it's a nomad though, they're not investments bankers like Dmitry and Alexie. Exclusive legal rights to surrounding areas is also something which needs to be considered.

Volchetundra would be the next license for Eurasia in the scenario you mention. There are also other areas in the Urals that Eurasia have explored and used to have license for, they could apply for those again too. - "continues to acquire further licences and prove up additional resources for a future sale."

Yes Saxon, as the world runs out, Russia turns on the tap for the resources it has, the good old Monchegorsk Development Agency. It's a stroke of genius tbh.
They know they hold the aces right now, as the world looks at Monchetundra in a state of awe, in the background an even bigger potential resource is starting to come back into play, Volchetundra. Exactly what will happen with that colossal area, is yet to be seen, but years down the line it can be turned on like a running tap.

It's a decent holding considering what they've had to pay to build it a bit later on in the EUA game. GMF highlighted the fact that they had increased their holding by 100k+ shares not last week, but the week before. It's a good sign of confidence this late on in the FSP, they clearly see a good outcome and great value for their holding from all of this.

The majority of it needs to be explored CAW, years of exploration work is needed at Volche, it's absolutely colossal. Eua only explored a tiny part of it in Anglo JV days.
MT is the only short term to production asset out there, all permitting etc is in place for production. The permitting takes a lot of time in itself, a flanks extension is around 9 months from start to finish, just to get the exploration license of a flanks area. Multiple flank applications also take years. It's a slow process, but it all follows the law to the letter, legal rights over there is a very important.

Why does that worry you CAW?. We're being sold, we don't have any Volche license at this stage. What is being sold is what we have right now, with a potential sweetener for what we have direct legal rights to. There is plenty at MT alone for a sale price running into many billions, that's a good exit point for a mining minnow imo.

You never know though, Eurasia may just sell their stakes in their current main assets and then move on to exploring Volche via those applications, prove it up, and again sell it. You never really know, as they did hold that area back in Anglo JV days and have already explored a tiny area of it.
