The SP might rise in a frenzy of speculative gambling but that is not a real sustainable recovery and it could come crashing down at any point... brave or foolish are those who inhabit such a building. Reality is that we are currently in the dark and nobody knows what will happen here. The wise approach is surely to exercise caution until the facts are known. Fair enough if people wish to gamble but to advocate a 'Strong Buy' could be considered misleading. IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

The market did not respond positively to that RNS at the time (indeed the SP fell by more than 20% in the following days) so it would seem fair to assume it is not the basis of a reliable recovery. There is no evidence based reason for the recent take off in SP which seems to have been triggered by a knee-jerk reaction to the low approaching sub-100p and then greatly exaggerated - hence the suspicion of a P&D. The following days, weeks and months should hopefully provide some clarity IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

I completely respect your opinion however my concern is that until the results of an investigation are in the public domain any change in the SP is pure speculation and not a real indication of a reliable recovery... My personal interpretation is that the volatility caused by this period of uncertainty lies between strong support of just above 100p and strong resistance of just over 170p which represent the two extremes of speculative sentiment. Until the facts are known I think it likely that the SP will fluctuate, possibly quite violently, between these extremes and only credible news from the company will trigger a dependable breakout north or south. There is no doubt in my mind that this share has attracted a good many get-rich-quick 'rainbow chasers' who are impatient to realise huge profits in the shortest possible timer-frame and I fear this has been exploited by a concerted pump & dump effort last week. I remain hopeful for a full recovery but believe this will only take place once the company is shown to be in good health and even then is likely to take months rather than days. In the meantime I remain convinced that the SP is as likely to go down as up and any movement is based primarily on the current balance of fear/greed. Telit would appear to have all the ingredients of a great company but there is a serious question of terminal cancer and until a credible diagnosis is undertaken it seems wise to acknowledge that it simply might not survive. Any speculative 'investment' in shares at this point can only be a pure gamble. IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

Like I said - impossible to value until financial health check completed... regardless of products, contracts or anything else if funds have been systemically misappropriated over many years it could very well mean curtains... It doesn't make any difference how low the SP might be it is not a bargain if it goes to nothing over night! Until the integrity of the finances are reported this can't be seen as a credible investment at any price - it is a pure 50/50 gamble with the very real possibility to lose everything, no matter the potential gains. IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

lastetasgrandes "Shows future potential I would have thought" If the company is healthy financially then I don't doubt its potential but at this stage that's a very big if... they can have the best products in the world but if the books have been adversely manipulated over many years that might prevent ongoing viability. Until results of an investigation into the financial health of the company are in the public domain there is simply no way to value the company ot assess its future prospects. In the meantime the SP could be £10 or 10p and no one could possibly know whether it was a good deal or bad. IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

Can't see anything material to have triggered this week's surprise rise in SP (and besides far too rapid for a sustained reliable recovery)... fear this has probably been subject to a typical P&D induced spike from those looking for a quick profit... guess we'll find out on Monday?!

50k buy today was me - had been holding out to see if it would drop further but fairly confident it will now steadily rise until next results (mid Sept?)... as there will then only be 2 further results to come I'm guessing it might hold well in anticipation... If it does drop from here before news c'est la vie but at least I'm fully loaded ready for the off (unless of course I can't resist another top-up!!). :-) IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

Just to let you know have sold HOC in case you are thinking of 'buying on a dip'... might rise from here if gold pushes for a second higher peak during Sept but I don't trust it until after gold falls back to the bottom of its channel & starts a new cycle - hopefully in sync. Would expect HOC to fall with gold. Really not sure so usual IMHO, DYOR etc etc disclaimer!! :-)

A_Fish "What else rather than rumours about delisting could be reason for the fall?" IMHO the market is waiting to see if there are accounting 'skeletons in the closet' which could have a big impact on valuing the company moving forwards... In the meantime a lot of PIs probably jumped in on the bounce thinking it was oversold and they'd make a quick killing as it hopefully recovered to 200+. As time passes & they find it's not going to bag overnight & they realise the downside risk they are then no doubt cutting their losses. As the SP falls more lose their nerve and sell causing a vicious circle. It's difficult to predict the floor even without bad news. Personally I suspect suspension is unlikely & my gut feeling is the company is basically a good one and even if bad practice affecting valuation comes to light it will hopefully turn around & ultimately succeed under good management - but even in the event of positive news we're prob looking at a fair delay before confidence is restored and SP recovery could take very many months/years. Obviously there's huge potential upside if you get in at the bottom & everything goes well but many believe the risk of another large fall over the next month or two is real enough to make this one a 'wait & see' share before making buy-in decisions. In the meantime I would be very surprised if it does anything other than fall. IMHO, DYOR, GLA etc etc

Have to admit I think this is more likely just a 'blip' on the way down... however next to no volume for movement either way atm Roll on Christmas! :-)
