RBS going to court ?2 Jun 2017 22:27
Well I still have not received any replies to my e-mails,
neither have I been asked whether I would like to accept a settlement or not.
How they can say to the courts, a certain percentage of their members will accept a settlement is beyond me, when they haven't even asked them.
"The meeting, between RBS chief executive Ross McEwan and three directors from the RBoS Shareholder Action Group, ended without an agreement"
Who are these people ? I have been a member of this group for years and have never been informed who is actually negotiating what, or what claimants would like them to negotiate.
"with a large chunk of investors raising £4m to put towards funding the 14-week trial "
Yet again, I have no idea who these people are or what they have to do with the Group ?
I also have no idea whether, as a claimant I am now included in the 82p settlement, or whether I am expected to continue with the inherent financial risks involved.
The Group remains silent and is not informing claimants (If I am an example) of their position.
They are behaving as if they are a no win, no fee limited company who will be deducting their percentage from any settlement or positive ruling.
They were never given this authority by claimants, as far as I am aware and should be consulting claimants , rather than dictating to them what will be happening.
