I find it highly questionable that the CEO is using IAG funds to buy shares in the market which are then going to be given to him as a reward, while the same company has a large debt burden.

I would also like to add, that the continuation of issuing scrip dividends is fascicle and needs to stop immediately.
It dilutes share value and is pointless when the Business is buying back shares at the same time .

The whole BoD neds to be replaced.
I know that it is unrealistic BUT they have demonstrated consistently that they are unable to run the business effectively and without numerous fines etc etc
In addition, the returns for shareholders have been miserable for years and years and years.
Their focus is on rewarding themselves, rather than providing returns to shareholders.

Something needs to change in this business and fast .

So, will they claw back the bonuses from 2019 / 2020 , when the error was made ?
It seems to me that the continual mistakes / errors/ incompetence etc etc are signs that this bank is far too big for anyone to be able to control the various parts of it.
Time for it to be broken up into it's component parts, that existing ( or new ) management are capable of overseeing and delivering substantial returns to shareholders, rather than themselves.
They talk the talk but are incapable of walking the walk.
