Their ability to mismanage and self reward is endemic and historic.
They do not have the capability, desire, or need to change anything , as long as they continue to reward themselves for failure, with no consequences.
Let's face it, if they screw up, they just pay the fine and if there isn't enough money, they simply ask for more from the shareholders.
No one holds them to account personally and it doesn't impact their situation in anyway.

As for a takeover......it won't happen because they are of the arrogant view that they are too big AND the Bank of England won't allow it.
So, given this situation.........what incentove is there for anyone at Barclays to change anything ?

True BUT if companies cointinue to increase their prices by RPI , or like phone providers RPI + 3.9%, how are people expected top keep up , if their wages do not also reflect increases in RPI.

Ministers saying that wages should not keep up with inflation, ultimately means that peoples wages will always decrease, year on year. ............ever spiraling downwards.
