Because the pay and conditions are so bad...

BA took away 10% of employees pensionable pay , using covid as an excuse and pleading poverty

They have now offered some of it back as a one off bonus, not as pay being returned to salary.

Employees have a right to be aggrieved , when BA consistently treat their staff abysmally.

It always takes two sides to strike and In situations like this , management are as culpable , if not more so, than employees. Strikes always cause difficulties for customers BUT employees have no other recourse as UK GOV keeps taking away their rights and weakening their ability to fight back against greedy employers.

Luis Gallego used the argument that his pay should be in line with other managers in BA. i.e. 150% uplift.

Now his own employees use the same argument and BA don't like it !
They should agree to reinstate the 10% pay that was taken from them and stop using their customers to cause division.

The problem with the 'do nothing ' approach , which is what Putin wants everyone to do, is that he just bombs the hell out of Ukraine and and ends up with full control of the Grain exports .
17% of Ukraine's GDP is Grain.
I see NO positive outcome for the we a st, from sitting on the sidelines and allowing Putin to do as he wishes. With the threat of Tactical Nuclear weapon being released if the West does anything which Putin doesn't like.

They should just go in and get it. Otherwise Putin will be holding the west to ransom not only for Gas and Oil but also for Agriculture from Ukraine.
The west was far too complacent with Crimea and , it seems has learnt nothing from it.
They are sitting on the sidelines while Putin does his best to ransack, rape and Pillage Ukraine , to Ultimately hold the west to ransom.
They need to grow some b...s and send in the Armed forces to create a food corridor from Ukraine, or they and we will regret it for a very very long time.
