It depends how they are going to pay for the aquisition and at what price ?
They are commited to buying before 31st March 2023 , if they are going to buy, otherwise they will simply lose the 75m they had to pay.
Airline are cheap at the moment but of course the concern is additional debt from any aquisition.
I am not sure I would be buying a competitior at the moment but then again I am not the CEO.

The market is not being driven by retail investors anymore but by MM's.

Unfirtunately, a good inflation rate is the last thing UK GOV want.
