No one is going to be liling back in again.

No explanation from IAG where the 7B is coming from. No strategic plan, no vision from the CEO, no steady rise in the SP .

It continues to linger where it has been for the last 3 + years.

The RI was a disaster for this share and a very bad decision by the BoD.

I am a long term holder and like many others, I wish I wasn't.

Investors constantly wait for any sign of a recovery in the SP but the BoD aren't delivering.

The SP determines how investors feel about the share, both institutional and retail. It says it all.

We really need a change of direction at the top.

Much as I disliked him , at least Walsh bought something to the table, in the way of substantial returns to Investors.

What is concerning is that their target is 1.8X .

They actually target debt to be higher ???

Well , as expected IAG have failed to deliver on debt.

What I find disappointing, is that they show net debt to EBITDA before exceptional items of 1.7 times BUT their target is actually 1.8x !

Guidance is a waste of time now. Investors need to see that IAG is actually delivering substantially.

Any increase in debt , or insufficient debt paid back will be seen as a negative and yet again, Investors will be dissappointed by IAG.

Let's hope not.

Meanwhile, RR with a completely different strategy is seeing the SP continue upwards .

IAG need to lower debt and increase free net cash flow.

Oh and get rid of the CEO.

They need to follow the example of RR with the new CEO.

It's a simple strategy but returns massive rewards for the Company, Shareholders and Employees.

IAG's only strategy has always been buy another company, try to cut costs and expand.

Expansion is not always the right way forward . Take a look at RYA......when did they last buy another airline ?

Agreed, walk away from the deal, save 400m , pay down debt and increase net cash flow.

FY resuts due on thursday 29th , not friday.

Trickey....it's been due an uplift for years but it isn't happening.

10% would only get iit back to 167 , which is half of where it was 3 years ago.

I lay the blame firmly at the feet of the CEO.

CEO needs to go .

Do we hear any announcement about the EU comments regarding Eurpoa ?

Maybe a statement to help prop up the SP ?

Ceo seems happy to watch the SP stay at these abysmally low levels. Look at the 5 year chart !

They should have upgraded the IT years ago, they are way behind thier competitors and although you say it should deliver cost savings, those savings are unlikely to appear for at least another 4-5 years.

Meanwhile it is just 7B going out of operating costs and you are hoping that they earn enough to replace the 7B ?

let's not also forget, that they would like to buy TAP ( goodness knows where the money is coming from ).

During this whole process, IAG also want to pay down debt and deliver returns to shareholders .......................

I am waiting for the CEO to explain how this is going to happen , without a further RI ( we hope not).

As for dividends......I agree with mararab........

They can't invest 7B AND bring down debt at the same time , in their current financial situation.

The CEO needs to explain how this is going to happen .

We need a change at the top and no underlying thoughts of a RI at anytime.

Still no explanation from Sean Doyle as to where the 7B is coming from for new IT etc ?

Time for a new CEO at IAG.

Certainly if the existing CEO remains in place .

Forget the dividends, let's pay down debt as quickly as possible.

There really aren't a lot of crew on the 'old' contracts who are left these days.

Over the next few years, they would probably retire anyway.

I do anticipate that some of the newer crew will accept redundancy though.

I think the money would be better spent, paying down the debt !

Maybe the CEO should accept it .

I agree . IAG nee to replace the CEO, urgently if they hope for a substantial price increase over the next few years.

The current CEO's strategy is clearly wrong, as the share pric e demonstrates.

It isn't rocket science. Just reduce debt and invest in your product .

Oh and stop buying other airlines !
