BUT as yet I see no explanation of why IAG's profits should fall in excess of 40% ( from 365 to 200 )since the tariff announcement .

IAG are making very good profits and now have a healthy balance sheet.

Will all it's traffic fall by over 40% ......of course not .

If global air travle is to sogften due to Chumps Tariffs, giving up a few slots can only be a benefit. Let's be clear, they will not be 'giving' them away but will still get paid for 'selling' the slots.

Cirrent forcasts for the summer are very very good and I do not see these future bookings dropping by 40%.

So, can someone please explain why the 40% drop because as yet, I haven't seen any explantation for a drop of this size.
