Also note that Tobin net worth estimated to be around US $5 Million and he has purchased about £2.5 million with of stick in Audioboom. Look at the background of this guy as you will what he has achieved..

Q1 was forecast to not be great but looking at the figures of the listeners and downloads, rest of year will be looking much better with the addition of Showcase. Tobin continues adding and I’m sure he knows more about whats going on with Bonnier and co. If you are willing to hold medium to long term i am confident we will see an improvement of the sp from around the current price.

Let Q2 role and you will see an improvement. Have a view of the presentation for Q1 2023 from last week.

If you’re looking for a short term trade then this is not for you to invest. Audioboom are building a brand and going in the right direction in terms of stats on downloads and listeners which have improved even with losing Morbid.

I am holding longer term and the reason for this is just that. I believe there is a viable business and coming 5th in the USA Pod market is no easy feat. The weekly download and users base has increased a great deal every month until now.

Maybe. Wouldn’t be for the first time. Only time will tell. One things for sure Audioboom need to grow faster than the rate they are growing otherwise they will keep losing investors confidence. At the moment its nearly at rock bottom. At least they have booked US $52 Million for 2023. Just another $25 million to roll in to equal last year :)

He must be buying for a reason?! Anyway how many brands have been sold for big money when not making a profit? Not saying this will be sold but this company is in a very early stage in building a brand.

Well at-least the figures released by Triton for New Zealand and USA are looking good again. Q1 was forecast to not be brilliant. Its time for the company to show their cards and move in the right direction.

BDFIX - totally agree with you and hence why i have a large position in comparing to my PF. This is a long term hold for me. Also a couple have mentioned the loss accured for boom but its good to look at the big picture and its not a great worry at the moment given Audioboom are still in the early stages of growing their business. The loss as below is explained in yesterday’s update.

‘ The total loss before tax for the year was US$0.4 million versus the prior year US$1.7 million profit, mainly due to the higher non-cash share-based payment charge of US$4.4 million related to the awarding of share options during the year. The total comprehensive loss of US$3.0 million (2021: US$7.0 million profit) included a charge of US$0.3 million in relation to the partial unwinding of the deferred tax asset recognised in 2021, which materially inflated the total comprehensive profit in 2021 and can be utilised to offset tax arising on future taxable profits.’

You sound like a kid who has lost a but in boom. Its all about the entry and exit here. It was 370/380 a few weeks ago. What’s your point. Stock will continue to go up and down - thats what happens. This company is at a stage where it needs to cement itself into a solid company making revs and profits. How much have you lost in this? Look like you bought in at 1000? Spill the beans.

Risk vs reward and all that but think this price is decent and only 85 mill mcap for me this is a strong hold to see what could happen. This is AIM so anything can either way :). I have a considerable amount in this and hope to be in for a while.

Thanks for your valuable input again but this is a growth company. It can also be traded and in sure is being but for long term growth this one is a solid hold as it can get on AIM.

I took it as £50 million rev booked already and we have 9 months to go to add to it which makes it possible to achieve decent revs again and maybe surpass 2022.

23rd Jan RNS stated ‘ The Company has contracted revenue of more than US$44.0 million for 2023 through advance advertising bookings’ for 12 months ended 31 December 2022. So that tells me another 5-6 million added in the last 2 months for revs. So looks like AudioBoom are on track for 70-80 mill again. Hoping for more myself.

I have started listening to some podcast’s on my drive after investing and it does make my hour’s commute feel alot shorter. Try it. Not surprised the podcast market is growing fast.
