Thanks mate. It really does make up too much of my p/f right now.
So much so, that the overall p/f number is positively swollen. Which is delightful of course, but obviously has had an equally notable impact in the other direction in the recent past. Poor risk management. Which I am gradually remedying.
Luckily, my trading elsewhere in the past 12 months or so (and at the time of print anyway, lol) has been sufficiently fruitful, so as to cushion the effects of this overweight position.
Even so, if we can continue the run up to 870p - 890p-ish, then I will reduce further and to a position size that I will feel more comfortable simply letting run, should this be the price discovery period for the metals.
And if it is not, then I will likely buy some back cheaper, lower the average and manage the position accordingly. And more sensibly this time :)
New ATH print for gold. Silver looking solid too. PM's are overbought now, IMO, but only insofar as from a technical basis and only on a short term basis as well, to my mind. See what the rest of the week brings. GLA.
