Yeah. The gap is still there of course and I am sure will be filled at some point, but the chart has broken down now IMO.

Been focusing on a few other names, so this one has gone on the back burner, insofar as trading goes.

But tempted to once again pick up some of those that my stop took out last time. Not sure yet. The chart is not horrible either though, hence pondering taking some at this price. GLA.

Maybe both, but IMO this one should justify a price in the region of 110p - 120p right now. And I think that is probably a little on the conservative side.

For now the market disagrees, and we might need the next update to (hopefully) strengthen this bull case.

Happy to sit tight until my unchanged target price hits. Subject to the usual stuff. GLA.

Annoyingly, I had forgotten to update an old sell order at 393. Been out this morning and was in a rush, so did not check before I left.

So I have lost almost half of my traders in this delightful rise. When does a profit feel like a loss? This one, lol.

Now I want the bugger to retrace, so I can get them back! The rest have no stops in place, so the higher target remains. And all being well, will be achieved before too long. Not that I am in any rush with those. Nor taking anything for granted either of course. GLA.

I keep an eye on this one from time to time, but have never taken a position. Always plumped for one or two others instead.

That said, I think this update is underwhelming, even with some of the opaque language used.

I think it should print fresh lows off the back of this update, but with the buy backs, who knows?

I remember when the deal was announced. I was not a shareholder in WG at that time, but I do recall wondering whether it might have been a fairly risky acquisition - but assumed they knew better than me, so gave it no second thought.

Anyway, the company is where it is and hopefully can turn the ship around at some point.

We will have to agree to disagree. FWIW, I used to consider TA as nonsense too.

But since seeing the light, so to speak, my performance has improved so materially that I am almost a disciple of it now.

A 'junior' one, with much still to learn, but I think improving with time and effort.

Obviously, patterns and gaps etc do not complete all the time, but when you watch this stuff over a period of time, it really is quite illuminating, IMO.

While we need to get back above the 50 DMA (but especially above the 200), looking at the chart generally, I do not see anything worrying. If anything, even allowing for the above, I think the chart looks quite nice at the time of print.

As I always say, if the BOD delivers, then sooner or later the SP will reflect this. AIMO & GLA.

Perhaps they tried, but did not get enough wider shareholder support to do so?

Or WG no longer fitted whatever metrics they use to determine their investments? We might never know.

It would have been inconceivable, given the volume of the past few days, for there not to have been at least one II selling down/exiting. Hard to imagine it has just been PI's buying them all, but if we do not get a TR-1 in the next few days, then perhaps it is.

Shorts are now at 4.52% (for those that need to disclose). Does anyone know the actual figure? I think there is a site that gives the full picture, but cannot remember which one now.

Either way, this does not necessarily mean that we are not going to see another up day tomorrow. Hopefully onto that gap fill :) GLA.

In fairness, 34p-ish is within one of the gaps. And one that I personally had/have my eye on when I opened my own trade here.

Not everyone is a ramper (just as not all bears are de-rampers), nor is everyone working in a boiler room.

Anyway, I am enjoying the SP action right now, but looking no further ahead than said target price. GLA.

Even though that looks like a head and shoulder pattern, which if it plays out, will underpin the TA thoughts I shared a week ago, or whenever it was.

If it does not play out, then we might get a spring back up. Which naturally I am hoping for.

As these are an investment, rather than a trade for me, I am reasonably relaxed either way. So view this top up like a pound cost average one. GLA.

I am surprised that this is not up more on that update.

I opened a small maiden position last week and added another small tranche this morning.

IMO it looks good on fundamentals. It has broken out of the downward trend on the weekly chart (although not the bigger trend on the monthly) and the platinum chart itself looks primed for a break out.

Looking for circa 60p, but time will tell and AIMO. GLA.

Pretty reliable, actually. Chart patterns and gaps do not always play out of course, but they do so often enough to add value to an investment, and especially a trading strategy, IMO.

And if we do fill that gap I mentioned, then as long as the spot price stays strong, then hopefully we will soon put in a new year high and kick on from there.

But to reach 12, and certainly 15 plus, will IMO require a sustained 3K plus gold price and probably 35 USD or higher sustained silver spot price.

Both of which are viable I think, but cannot be taken as nailed on. Not unless certain major banking institutions want it to happen, some might conclude...

You may be right. And if so, a punt is all it will remain for me.

I have been in this one a few times. So far (touch wood) always profitable.

At one point, it was actually a planned long term investment.

But I did not keep any in the investment pot, as I lost faith in the management team. I did not even take a trade the last time it had a nice range after the prior plunge, simply for this reason.

You will get a range of different opinions for your question. Some will be honest, some might be a little less so.

But I play no games. Because I do not need to. And if something happens that changes the narrative to my mind, I will not rule out changing course and revisiting the initial plan. Cannot see it happening, but you never know.

It might be at a much higher SP, but that would not be an issue in principle.

But that is, at best, something for the medium term. My trade is for a much shorter horizon. GLA.

You can almost always buy for less than any fund raise price. Certainly since after the covid small cap bubble times anyway.

The key thing for me is a cash runway that should now be comfortably long enough for an FDA verdict. Which if successful, IMO will result in a SP materially north of the raise price. A price that at least sets a new 12 month high.

But just my thoughts and obviously predicated on said approval. That is the gamble and one that I have taken a small punt on.

Although I would be a little surprised if we did not at least test the six month high as we get closer to likely news. That is based on what usually happens with these things, but of course, this time might be different, so do not take it as a given! GLA.
