Totally agree when needs must we should be drilling our own oil in the North Sea. Pause the green agenda for times such as these to keep the machine running and minimise the cost to all us ordinary folk. It’s costing us so much money in so many ways, and for what? So we rely on everyone else for everything! Get on with it.

Will the rumours of an easyJet takeover have a positive effect on the Jet2 share price this week?

Trump dragging his heels in committing to a deal. Could potentially be a really promising week if things head in the right direction.

Hope everyone is having a nice bank holiday weekend! Whilst also keeping an eye on the “deal” that is hopefully being made over in the ME.

If it is indeed made, the oil starts to flow again and the oil price comes down, what do people think the SP can realistically reach over the next few months?

My own personal target is £13 which is fairly optimistic but I’d be willing at around £12.50 too.

Some big buys going in now and more positivity in general. No news from Jet2 of any fuel shortages or flight cancellations this summer.

Let’s hope a deal in the ME will ensue and the SP recovers this summer!

Good results this week, and a solid end to the week. Is it too much to ask for good news going into next week?

Or just get the straight flowing again and discuss the uranium in a few weeks time. There’s got to be some give and take from both sides here.

Oil price shooting down! Let’s hope good news is starting to creep out the closet!

Anyone else relieved that the SP is up today?

Recently when Jet2 have released trading updates the SP has dropped even on generally good news. Today, on the back of all the external factors going on the SP has increased…

Is it too much to ask for the King to work his magic and news comes out soon enough of a peace deal being signed and an end to the needless conflict in the ME?

What’s people’s thoughts on the reaction to tomorrow’s trading update?

It would be nice to see some green, although red seems the most likely result at the moment.

Why would he do that when him and his mates can enjoy an oil surge Monday morning, then sell off before purchasing in other markets before he then announces the blockade has ended or a deal has been made, to make gross and insane amounts of money.

Trump and his mates know that oil will surge come Monday morning and markets will fall.

Then come close Monday evening, Trump and his mates will either cancel the blockade or make a deal with Iran, knowing that oil will plummet and markets will surge. During this time stocks and shares will be made between oil and markets and Trump and his mates will make a fortune, a complete scandal.

Meanwhile the rest of us dealing with beer money in comparison that are hoping and waiting for news that will give us returns for a family holiday, a new house etc are left to wait and see what scraps we get left with.

Really hope the SP stays above £12 heading into Monday. Almost cracked £12.50 a few times today but just didn’t get there.

Let’s hope there’s no drama over the weekend and more concrete news on a deal moving forward.

Tomorrow will certainly be a red day, but I’m hoping it’s not as excessive as 10%!!

Whilst a deal hasn’t been struck, and more uncertainty around the straight continues… there’s still time in this ceasefire window to get a deal sorted out. It was never going to be sorted in the first round of negotiations. Although according to Iran, a deal is within reach?

Maybe I was a bit naive to think a deal could be made so soon!

The ceasefire is apparently for 2 weeks, and only started late last week, so there’s every chance that a deal could be made before the time is up. I think friendly and neighbour countries of Iran will be pushing for a deal to be made. It is certainly in the interests of the world order to get this sorted asap.

The longer it takes though, the more likely a fuel shortage could become a reality if that oil doesn’t get moving.

So with all the negotiations ongoing this weekend and into next week… if the straight is somewhat opened (we know there could be a delay in fuel over the next few weeks) is there a chance we could hit £13 next week?

Today’s marks the first flights from LGW, a huge milestone in Jet2’s accomplishments.

Also for info, the EMA-PFO went pretty much full yesterday highlighting the desire for people to still travel to southeast Europe despite the obvious.

The company is doing very well, and other than external factors it should continue to do so.

Time for take off?

Occasionally some big buys going through this morning, which is somewhat reassuring.

So where does it go from here? Does the situation continue to spiral, or do the powers that be intervene and introduce sincere negotiations to get things sorted? Surely there’s incredible pressure on the US/Israel/Iran to sort this mess out?

So a £2mill UT this evening, and a £3mill UT last night… hopefully showing some positive signs of confidence in the share going forward! Let’s see what tomorrow brings
