It’s highly frustrating Hexy but I’m going to stick my neck out with positivity in the hope that this war will end soon, as the US (trump) will be under extreme pressure to get out before it ruins his mid-terms. Plus the international pressure on oil prices will surely be weighing heavily. You’d expect Israel to try and finish soon after the US pull out as they don’t have their big brother helping them out.

Give it a few weeks and hopefully this share price will be recovering back up.

It’s important to also remember that during the end of 2020 and into 2021 when we were dealing with the lockdowns during Covid and uncertainty of operations that the share price remained above £12, which is more than it is now, and one could argue back then it was more uncertain. Flying around empty and repartition flights cost the money plenty of £££

It’s also possible that people who had booked or who were planning to book to travel to Dubai and the Middle East will instead choose parts of Europe such as the canaries/greek islands etc which works in Jet2’s favour.

I hope the ruling against Trumps tariffs are taken positively by the markets on Monday morning. Added to the trading update on Wednesday and hopefully no conflict in the Middle East, it could be a good week for the share price!

Nice to see Jet2 hanging on in there today whilst others (easyJet, wizz) have lost ground.

How long would a war in the Middle East hold back the share price and by how much. We are all hoping for a peaceful solution but it’s not looking promising.

This happens quite often. I don’t understand how the transactions work after hours, but usually these individuals seem to know the next days outcome of the share. (They’ve sold £2mill so I wouldn’t be surprised to see the SP down in the morning). However they aren’t always correct.

Bookings are up for half term, and one can assume that they will also be up for the Easter holidays too, especially if the UK weather persists in being incredibly miserable.

Just about hanging on in there today.

Yesterday’s early EMA-TFS had 187 pax on board the 737-800, there was another EMA-TFS later in the morning.

People want their holidays, and this miserable weather will only push that agenda. Let’s hope clear skies in all cases are just around the corner!

Today’s gone against the grain. Shame as Brent crude currently down 3% on the day. Stopped the small resurgence in its tracks!

I guess the important thing is, if the directors are holding onto their shares and not selling, then that’s a good enough sign that they expect the SP to increase.
