Fair point Lurker.
Lurker, I guess all of us financially and economically illiterate morons are lucky to have you here telling us how rubbish our investment decisions are. Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to do this. Much appreciated.
Lurker, I don’t think anyone is asking you for a precise estimate, just a rough one will do...
So Lurker, you’re saying that Kibo’s FC is further progressed than NCCL’s ?!
Well, my paltry top-up of 6K @ 8.39 from earlier this morning isn't showing up either!
Sorry, I meant to sell! :)
Fairly sure that's a buy - I did a dummy trade just afterwards and was quoted 8.18 to buy.
Splatted, it's not just pathetic, it's downright immoral - trying to profit by tricking people into losing money.
RE-posting another post from earlier this morning, courtesy of CF and they have given us the precise, concise time line. ---------------------------------------- "Following on from signing the Non-Binding Offer with potential strategic partners on 9 November 2017, the directors believe that the Company has a clear path to de-risking the 300MW integrated coal fired power project in Tete, Mozambique (the "Power Project"). " ----------------------------------------
I'm re-posting one of CF73's comments from earlier this morning, as it gives a good indication of the possibilties here... GE bought a 20% stake in a 1, 000MW plant in Kenya. That cost them $400million Ncondezi is not just a Power Plant, it's also a coal project. So what would they pay - as is currently stipulated - for the 60% (GE & CMEC at 30% each) for a Coal2Power project scalable to 1, 800MW? At the point of a binding JDA we will hear about the percentages, including if it is a buyout -- whichever way, the numbers (if we go by Lamu) are going to knock folk out! ------------------------ https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/corporate/companies/GE-buys-Sh40bn-stake-in-Lamu-coal-plant/4003102-4566090-11crxxm/index.html "American energy firm GE Power has bought a Sh40 billion stake in the Centum-fronted 1,050MW Lamu coal-fired electricity generation plant." ------------------------
Guys, look at his previous posts, he's a serial de-ramper, with no knowledge of this project / company. Likely attracted here due to our presence on the riser board. These people always seem to show up when good news is due! Like flies to xxxx.
CF, These people always seem to show up when a company is about to do well. I take it as a positive :)
Mozambique Hopes to Sell Power to Malawi http://allafrica.com/stories/201804040135.html Interesting article from earlier this month. It discusses Mozambique's plans to export power to neighbouring countries, with the foreign minister stating that coal-fired power stations in Tete could be built to help with this.
Same, Marshmill - I always do better when I invest in the fundamentals and wait, rather than attempting to trade. I'm not in a hurry here, so will keep these in the bottom drawer. I'll keep adding at these levels if possible.
Do people think there will be an RNS on Monday confirming delivery of the EPC and O&M proposals?
Zoo, yes I'm going to try and make it (work allowing).

Cheers Brybags!
Apologies for the ignorant question, but what actually is a "tariff envelope"?
