Franco for me its a no brainer , i just typically hold & just enjoy the divis but this budget has spooked me so going to sell a chunk of lloy & nwg in the next few days . Thats the difference between greed & common sense. This will be my largest personal trades in nearly 40 years of trading & If it drops like I expect i will certainly re-invest some of my ill gotten gains back in both at some point & may gift the rest to my children as not getting any younger !

See the market reacted positively to sacking the 2 numpties at the BBC perhaps if they get a few more of this lot it would improve the SP further. NWG just achieved its 52 wk high so hoping LLOy may mimic this later today .

Sorry JJ how rude no I don’t have tickets my knee playing up so gave it to one of my buddies but wanted to save mysel for the England nz game Saturday ! I have 9 tickets in a row I am too embarrassed to say how much that cost us but looking forward to it for sure ! Last week against the Aussies was a bit flat but you can’t beat the atmosphere of twickers !

Great stuff guns gonna hold a little longer but selling a chunk when i think the market is going to blink ! NWG smashed 600 & lloy 90 wot a morning ! But you never get fed of that feeling making good money ! Well i bet a few are beside themselves. Its a good day for holders in the banking sector .

Late to the party but I was hoping we would have 600+ last week but better late than never but amazed how this has stuck 600+ so far , I must admit I am now very jittery about RR & I am going to sell a chunk of all my bank stock & hold cash just to see wot how the market digests the budget. JJ remind me wot was your target for end of 2025 ? I was looking at my covid buys & NWG is now falling into carpet bagging territory for me so I would be a fool not to take some profit but will prob plough into BP just to level out my PF . Cross go big 700 !

End who thinks everything is rosy ! If i had known RR was going to have her cosy chat blaming anything & everything I would have sold a chunk yesterday . Basically recovered but not sure how much more this stock can bounce back . I would suggest everyone must be worried if you have held for LLoy over 12 months due to the great growth. I must admit Listening to RR this morning made me think of a few posters on here she said a lot but just droned on & on & then I just lost the will to live !

Always a good day when your 2 largest holdings both hit a 52 wk high on the same day ! My 3rd largest very close to to hit its year high ! Starting to feel like my namesake for a change !

LOL Dead I am sure I mentioned it earlier but I was at the 9-0 thrashing at Anfield many years ago which still hurts , I dont feel we have got even yet ! But was at Twickers Saturday a bit flat due to the weather but was sitting right under the 20 yards + Rolling maul try which made my day Swing Low . Agreed I think we are going to hit 600 before Budget its going to hover at this level for a while but once the budget news is digested by the city it will then move on to your projections hopefully . I am going to sell a chunk myself to protect my self as my PF is very bank heavy due to crazy gains in SP in the last few years but once . But LLOy just hit a new 52 wk high as typing this & NWG just tickling theirs ! Good luck all.

Blimey we are cruising up to our next 52 wk high & just 1 post so far this morning ! still suggests to me that many who post on here dont have any interest in LLOy . OH well we smashed the Aussies at the weekend so hoping that is a sign for how the rest of the week goes. But once it hits 90+ I feel it going to hover around this level for some time with some welcome profit taking for some & also people waiting for the budget.
