Bottom feeder I think you will fit in here quite nicely ! Not quite a Nigel Farage opportunity for NWG like we had a few years ago but an opportunity to nick a few points for sure. Franco reporting of brokers ratings seem to be very hit & miss on who & when released so I always do a search rather than just use 1 source myself.

I was looking at updated broker ratings this morning for Lloy & Barclays has confirmed they Favour LLoy over NWG re stronger capitol & better RoTe but cant believe this caused this blip with NWG . But sure we will be hitting new 52 wks shortly .

Chips I dont think you will see dearth for a while he is currently researching how he got LLOy so wrong !

Another new 52 wk high this morning 674.20 & lloy now holding steady above 100 ! Def going to be some major profit taking by private investors going on in the banking sector for sure this week .

LLOY & NWG have both breached their 52 wk high this morning & nice to see some normal posters returning to this board. I see our some of our resident so called life experts now think they understand footie banter most amusing like some of you have ever been to a football game ! Good luck to the serious investors.

Hey JJ agreed as you get older you always get more interested in your past . But i bet you Nan would be amazed to find out those 3 coins she pugged away will probably be worth in excess of £1.5 K , in the 80's me & my old pal would put £400 together every couple of months to buy 10 sovereigns & was one of my early great investments but stupidly I give loads away to my friends when they had their kids ! But hey ho a new high of 668.60 achieved NWG certainly out of the blocks like a rocket. & I think you need to revise your 1st qtr target at this rate mate !

Another 52 wk high achieved on opening of trading, & now hunting down a new high . FTSE100 also looking to crack 10000 so a good start to the year chaps ! Silver & gold also hunting down new highs if thats your bag, not into bullion, coins are my thing which typically have a higher value than spot but a good opportunity to get rid of my trash coins which are just melt value. Silver is the new gold I have been reliable informed !

Asperger If you had included drip into calculations i suggest you would be at least 50% + higher for LLOy & NWG ! Amazing this lot can raise 60 + posts on a non trading day is beyond me.

Happy New year yourself JJ . Whilst the world is falling apart around us i sort of take solace in NW & this board as it feels we are just down the pub whilst making a few gains ! Some kind soul gave me a link to this is money risers & fallers which has become one of my fav tools & it is showing that NWG is the 6th largest growth company in the FTSE 100 in the last 6 months ! If it keeps up this pace 700 is a certainty in the 1st qtr.

Apologies for late post I was making rather merry yesterday . But oh well all my end of year targets now hit albeit a day late Ftse100 10000+ Lloy broke 100 & NWG hit a new 52 wk high of 662.80 ! think we will all be making merry for quite a while !

Who needs AI paddy when you have this board, this lot can throw out more garbage per minute then any AI programme could generate ! Banking on LLoy having a 35+% uplift next HNY !

Agreed JJ buybacks much more preferred by long time investors, well it looks like the hand break has been removed & NWG has smashed thru the 650 mark ! Just under 9 hours of trading so hopefully we can hold on to 650+ for the new year push . European banks especially British ones are getting other markets excited so JJs 700 by 1st qtr & Deads 800 by end of 2026 + potential special divi ( yes please) seems a good sorry a great bet ! Oh well on the home run now with festivities but i cant complain i did particularly well in the port & cigars depts this year. Have a great new year all .

Agreed guys a much more relaxed type of investor on here who actually hold the stock ! Anyway knocking on the door for a new 52 wk high so hopefully we get close to 650 by end of trading year which will put us on the right foot for the push for 800 next year. Prob my last post of the year as now in full Christmas swing for the family ! So have a wonderful & prosperous Christmas break all .
