Great RNS Building The Foundations For The Next Phase5 Mar 2026 07:55
Another interesting step forward for ECOB this morning.
The company has appointed former UK Construction Minister Dr Nigel Griffiths as a strategic adviser to support ministerial engagement and public policy as Eco Buildings expands internationally.
That may sound like a simple advisory role, but in reality this is exactly the kind of connection that matters when working with governments on housing programmes.
Dr Griffiths previously oversaw UK housing, infrastructure and energy efficiency initiatives, and now brings that experience directly into Eco Buildings as the company continues expanding into Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America.
Eco’s model is built around large scale housing delivery with government and institutional partners, so having someone who understands how policy, funding and infrastructure programmes are structured is a very logical move.
What stands out from the recent news flow is how the company is steadily building the pieces required for global rollout:
• Senegal JV now moving into implementation phase
• Production line mobilisation underway
• Government-level engagement increasing
• International expansion continuing across multiple regions
Eco’s technology already addresses two of the construction industry’s biggest problems – cost and labour shortages – while delivering lower carbon, faster build housing.
The global housing shortage isn’t getting smaller, and scalable solutions like this are exactly what governments are increasingly looking for.
The company continues to add projects, partnerships and now political expertise as the rollout develops.
Feels like the foundations for the next phase are being put in place.
