ITM Power - H2 Hauler and NEPTUNE V15 May 2025 14:00
H2 Hauler are excited to share that we’re commencing work with ITM Power on a strategic collaboration that will support and advance the development of Australia’s first integrated hydrogen distribution and transport corridor - HY-CORR.
Stretching from Brisbane to Cairns and beyond, HY-CORR will seamlessly connect hydrogen production, distribution infrastructure, and demand. This transformative project will create renewed opportunities for regional communities, generate skilled jobs, and drive growth in manufacturing, services and clean energy.
At the heart of the HY-CORR project is a simple but critical mission: to safely deliver hydrogen at the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost. To achieve this HY-CORR brings together world-class technologies and experienced collaborators – and that’s why we’re proud to be working with ITM and its NEPTUNE V containerised electrolyser technology.
With NEPTUNE V, HY-CORR will enable the rollout of strategically located regional hydrogen production sites, ensuring reliable, scalable and distributed hydrogen access across the corridor.
Tyson Cooney, H2 Hauler’s CEO said:
“HY-CORR, along with its strategic partners, is bringing renewed opportunity to the regions by seamlessly connecting industry to sustainable hydrogen, from Brisbane to Cairns and beyond. With ITM’s proven expertise and global track record, this collaboration will accelerate the rollout of sustainable hydrogen infrastructure, enabling cleaner transport solutions and delivering real progress toward Australia’s net zero ambitions. We couldn’t be more excited to announce that we’ll be collaborating with ITM to advance our HY-CORR Project.”
Tim Calver, ITM’s VP Commercial said:
“This collaboration combines H2 Hauler’s hydrogen infrastructure expertise and local insight with ITM’s proven and leading electrolyser technology. We look forward to working closely with H2 Hauler to advance zero-carbon transport in Queensland and bring NEPTUNE V to the Australian market.”
