I don't think you have to understand much about NFTs.
Its simply a token to represent stock/inventory uploaded tk the system and a way of tracking the process if what has been paid and what has been paid back .

Client uploads inventory.
Client receives money.
Tokens issues for the money outstanding and tokens returned as outstanding money is witled down through sake of that inventory to the end customer.

I think it's a perfectly good question you raise and if you receive more information from syme on the details then do post your answers.
