Well i opened two spread bet accounts to check and prove the point.. there was no option to short it.

I asked if anyone could prove you can, as I'm aware there's many spreadbet sites, so far nobody has provided proof you can short it.

Shouldn't be difficult to prove if it's possible

But he sold billions of shares by listing syme , the listing should of raised millions. What did he do with the loaned share money? He didn't invest it into IMs as stated he would.

No they didn't, you are confusing the loan companies with the CLN companies.

The CLNs came much later and we only took them to buy tradeflow , a company we couldn't afford and didn't need and subsequently has proven nothing but a waste of time.

We paid a ridiculous figure for it too.

At the end of the day TW is the Sunday sport of financial journalism, he's an extremist with a big mouth. But if AZ shot a straight arrow, TW wouldn't have anything to say.

If it was someone only selling we would of had tr1s coming out of our aßs.

Back in the early days everyday was 20-40m blocks out of hours.

How many times do we need to repeat the same thing..

they are bumping the price up with tiny buys then selling blocks of 10m-25m

Then it drops snd they bump it down further with tiny sells and buy back in 10m - 25m blocks

Savvy thinks its the loan companies

I think it's TAG (how else are they making money)

And that's where our major differences of opinion is.

If it was venus trying get it low deliberately they would just unload, not spend time putting £5 buys above the asking price all morning ,.

It's the trader , false driving it so they can dump at a higher price and then they'll buy it back in a week.

This has been going on since day 1 , long before any CLNs were taken out.

The Company was notified on 12 April 2023 that The Avantgarde Group S.p.A., a Person Closely Associated ("PCA") with Alessandro Zamboni, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") of SYME acquired a total of 925,000,000 ordinary shares of nominal value £0.00002 each in the capital of the Company at a price of £0.000513 per ordinary share, details of which are below.

On rereading it states that date lower down.

I hate reading those boxes.. they layout is tosh.

That's a big IF but yeah I agree 👍

There's two ways a buy out can go.

1. You set up a business , you take it to profitability and you get bought out by a bigger company for more money.

2. You set up a company but lack the funds to meet your customer base , you sell it for less than the current value.

Sirus minerals was a great example of number 2.

They did all the work to prove the had a valuable asset but grossly underestimated the cost of recovering that asset. After many fund rsisers they sold to angelo American.

My shares were worth 12.5p , we got 5.5p per share.

Since I live close everyone in the surrounding area thought it was a dead cert .. till they shafted us shareholders. Of course the ceo got a huge bonus and the employees all got to keep their jobs.

We don't fall into number 1 since we seem to struggle to fund our own pipeline .

So you want to be careful what you wish for.

As for someone wanting a piece of the pie at our expense.

Well we've got nearly double the shares in issue now a we did back in 2020.

So if that's what it's about they could of just issued 30 billion shares and given them to them outside of the market, saving all the spread and fees snd owned half the company and not bothered with funding from CLNs .

The result would of been far better for the buyer and far better for us.

There are lots, but the number 1 reason is , as ceo its his responsibility to look after shareholders, it's a listed company .

I don't care what he says, that's his job.

So holding back news of IMs is going against that considering the circumstances of all our investments.

But on the otherhand, saying he won't announce them opens the door to the same "I wonder how many IMs the accounts will show" comments that we've heard for the last few years..

Which helps those big traders doesn't it.

Which is how the stock market works and has always worked. Doesn't matter if its automatic or not.

Market makers have a float for stocks they trade.

Nobody said it was out the goodness of their own heart. They are there to make money and usually succeed.

Technically it's illegal to manipulate the SP but hard to prove and easy to do for some.

Which is why I say price been kept down is nonsense, because I they wanted it low they could very easy knock huge percentage off where we are now.

Yup, they need to complete the WL deal .

Then show that more IMs can be done and done in quick succession, we've had a large pipeline of clients for years. They need servicing.

So far practically peanuts in revenue even with this WL.

But the 100m CH deal should make us a nice chunk..

So roll on more business and prove it can be done fast and not over 6month to a year.
