RE: Shorters23 May 2021 13:21
Good morning pardariff.
Just to be clear my comments were generalised to the whole of LSE and not specific to this board.
You see hundreds of new posters daily repeating the same spiel . Some just think that's how to behave because it's what they see going on , others are there to create buys and sells for the MMs.
I think two types of people is over simplifying it.
There are many in the For Camp, genuine straight shooters, overly positive spinners and out right liars.
Equally there are many on the negative side of the fence.
Shorters, traders who switch opinion based on their position for that day, people who are bitter because they got spiked and in some cases people who are invested in a company's competition.
You only have to see how a board is filled up with unheard of posters on RNS day if that RNS leaves any uncertainty or can be interpreted badly.
They flock in minutes after an RNS is released to create fear. No individual shorter could be so organised. Hence me saying stooges for the market makers.
If I was going to simplify it, there are genuine people and non genuine people. The genuine are the minority.
