As I understand it, there are many different kinds of leukemia, with different characteristics. The treatment developed by HEMO is aimed at a particular variant, which is particularly hard to treat successfully.

Is it possible to say, on present knowledge, whether it is likely HEMO's treatment will also be effective against a broader range of disease types?

In other words, are we talking about a potential treatment for leukemia, full stop? Excuse me if it's a stupid question.

What on earth is the point of a broker buy recommendation with a target of 49p, when the stock is already at 73p?

The trading page currently shows at least 30 transactions, all buys at 75.00 but one, quantities from 1,000 down to single figures, all timed today at 15.09.34.

What on earth is going on?

It's not a tree shake. It's a co-ordinated shorting attack, and it is continuing.

A day or two ago, someone posted information about the likely dates of the FDA meeting to rule on Hemo's juvenile trials. Seemed very well informed.

Profit taking is to be expected from time to time, but the selling this week looks like more than that.

It looks as though a substantial holder has sold out in a hurry.

Anyway, it means cheap shares for the rest of us. I will be surprised if it is not back to the high 60s next week.

Two minutes before the close, somebody buys a single share at an all-day low, 506. Twice.

Hoping to influence the closing price, no doubt.

When the next news arrives, these games won't count.

Permit me to point out that the leukemia treatment is only at Stage One toxicity trials, with just 3 patients.

Promising, yes, but a long long way to go.
